YAY! A PS3!! Nothing too special, but totally awesome. It's for Christmas and it's gonna be hard not to open this and just stare at it. I can't wait to stare at the amazingness while high =D!!

I knew when my mom brought home the original playstation before xmas we opened it and played the game it came with and packaged it all up and she never knew when we opened it on xmas!
Haha, I've done that too many times. Last year with the PSP I did it and with other things and Christmas wasn't as exciting. I'm just looking forward to December 25th so I can rip the fucker open and play it on the HDTV and stuff.
Make sure it's not a plasma.. I hear that video games burn out the plasma or whatever, and stuff will be permanantly on your screen.
It's a rear-projection TV. I'm going to grandmas to hang with the family though so I'll probably bring the smaller 19 inch HDTV. My older cousin (12) is getting an Xbox 360, should be a good time =P
On black friday my parents got us all an early x-mas present. It was a 60 inch rear projection HDTV. Don't remember what model but it's from sony. It's totally awsome with the PS3. You'll enjoy it.
Dont forget to get HD cables to connect the PS3 to the television it makes it so much better. At least thats what I had to do with XBOX 360 I'm not sure about the PS3
Your older cousin is 12? Do you mean 21? I am not sure if I am going to get anything this year. Nothing has really interested me. For some weird reason I just havent been interested in material things. Maybe I will just ask for cash.
I've gotten that. Where it's been hard to want something for Christmas. Cash is nice =P I meant older as in the older of the two cousins that are coming up. Oops.
you also need to buy HDMI compontant cables for HD, i'm pretty sure the PS3 doesnt have those, if you want full HD. i know xbox 360 has that, not sure about ps3

the PS3 Takes any HDMI cables, it doesnt need a special Playstation one its a good thing u got the 80gig because the 40gig ones they are coming out with now dont have backwards compatability [cant play PS2 games] also, Plasma's these days all have anti-burn functions, so they will rarely burn an image unless u have an older one
Plasmas are sexy =) And yeah, that's one of the big reasons I opted to get the 80 gig one instead of the 40. Also wireless internet and blue tooth, not to mention what kind of strange and cool stuff it'll do with the PSP. Playstation store!
