you may know this, but if not I'll explain, its from an Englsh comic who does charaters, her name is Catherine tate and one of her charaters is a sterotypically gay older man that is completly in denial about his sexuality even though he goes every where with his boyfriend and has a handbag (his gentlemens sponge bag) I think its really funny (he's forever saying the above phrase) what do you think, see poll S
I don't find it funny, but I don't understand how it could be offensive. If you can't joke about your sexuality, what can you laugh about?
Ditto. Not funny or offensive, though it does fuel the stereotypical image of a gay male. *EDIT* Whoops, the picture just loaded. That above post was commenting on the actor or whatever. Its clever, but not particularly funny or rude.
Depends on how it would be acted by a comediant . Even the most NOTFUNNY stuff can be downright hilarious if acted brilliantly by a talented comediant. Just one example : Bernie Mac had a crowd "begging for air" kind of laughing for an entire number , the main theme being " i ain't scared of ya'll muthafuckas " . I don't need to say more. ( well ..except that you can probably imagine that " muthafuckas" was pronounced in his typical , fast speaking manner , which is hilarious by itself )
