Selling green?

Is there much profits in it? Enough to make a living anyway?
Which would be better to sell in a college city higher end bud, or mids? I was thinking mids because all the broke college kids.

 

its gonna be hard to make a living unless you know the right people. Also if your making enough to live on your gonna have a bigger chance of getting busted.

Mids would probably be best for a college town

 

I can get schwag for $175. - $200. a lb depending how many I buy, or I can get middies for $275. a lb - $325. a lb depending how many I buy again. I have plenty of connections, not to mention up here near memphis middies are selling for $25. a quarter. I think there may be more profit areas and easier to make a living off other products but I dont know, because everyone smokes these days.

 

if that was the prices around here you could make alot of money. usually around here eighths are like $25. the cheapest i can get it around here is like maybe $400 a QP. they might give a better deal for like half pounds and pounds but ive never needed to get that much. usually i just get it by the ounce and sell most of it to get some free. i figure if you can make the money back and smoke for free then its alright.

 

I'm reffered to the pill man right now, but looking for more profit. And it's not alright to make enough to smoke free, when your trying to make a living out of it. Might have to stick with other products. Not sure green will cut it.

Where I recently moved to it's $25. a quarter for middies. With my connection I can buy 4-5 lbs and get them for $300. a lb. So I figure if I only charged $50. a ounc. or 25. a half then everyone would be running to me. (College city, population 100k) I would be making about $500. a lb plus a good size smoking sack on top of that. So if I could sell that 5 lbs in a month, I'm looking at $2500. a month. Or you could always go big in green, and get the "Houston Supplier Deal" which is 20 lbs for 5G's.

 

if you could get pounds for 300 and then go somewhere you could sell eigths for $25 then you could make tons of cash. if i could get pounds of decent bud for $300 i would be in heaven around here and i could sell it the cheapest anyones ever seen. i wish them kind of prices were everywhere lol....

 

GOD DAM if weed was that cheap in the chicago area then the city would be hie all the time

Love music, I didnt understand your statement. Why would you get the good stuff to sell to highschoolers if they dont know the difference? Also you think high schoolers can afford $15. or $20. a gram?

 

selling weed is not a lifetime profession.

BUT, as a part-time job it can be beneficial. it can help buy that computer you always wanted, or pay rent for a few months, or be able to get a dog. as a full-time dealer, YOU WILL get caught eventually. even your mother will tell you that.

 

Dont have a judgamental view. There is several individuals out there, that make a living off of soley selling green I'm sure. I know one to point out. He's on his third charge of marijuana, over a Qp, in a horrible county, and he's doing 3 months. Honestly I've been selling other things not to go specific for the last two years and living quite well. Covers my rent, car payment and insurance, all my food, and have lots and lots left over to spend and to re-up once a month. But I would rather get caught selling green then selling what I am at the moment. Not saying I want to get caught, but i'd take a fineable offense over a couple felony charges anyday. I mean most marijuana dealers arent to stupid. They know not to carry a scale and baggies everywhere you go. If you just got enough green for what your going to get rid of it should be a mistameanor.

But anyway I did some quick math. Help critque it if you feel the need I wont feel upset at all. Keep in mind some numbers may vary or go back and forth. If everything goes as I hope it will. (College city / 100,000 population) I know people from all around the other close cities also.

$4,500. = 2 lbs of cali chronic = 896 Grams

896 grams. (Price here is 50. - 60. an 8th, or $20. a gram.

896 grams x 15. to $20. a gram comes out to about 16,000 for 2 lbs.

If you can move a lb. a month that would come to 8,000 a month minus the $2200. which would be $5800. a month. $5800 minus whatever you smoke. Easily $2k to $3k a month?

I thought theres guys out there that actually make a living off selling mary jane. I know a buddy of mine does it, only thing he gets is mary jane and xanax. He also managed to buy a brand new G6 also, so I guess he's doing something right.

Sell to high schoolers because of their lack of experience? You could get the mids and sell them for the price headies run. Once you find that group of poser kids that want to be liked, you are all set.

 

Man I'm really stumped on what to do. It's either that or white. But weed is my passion. I like traveling as far as cali. just to try the differnt kinds of strains out there. But when you can get 20 lbs of middies for under 5,000 its hard to know what to do. I mean I just figured in a college city, the kids are looking for more of quanity.

Works in theory, yeah. But when you got a ton of weed sitting around you, why would you go out and buy some? You'll just hit off it, naturally.

 

i've never known anyone who sold, and sold only weed, that made a good living without doing anything else for money, or without getting busted (too much traffic in and out of your apartment or too much driving around with quantity making deliveries is going to eventually be risky)

however i've known people to just manage to scrape up a living from just pot and maybe occasionally some acid or mushrooms, but not make a comfortable living.

i'd say higher quality would be the way to go, if you have enough connections with hardcore stoners that can afford to smoke lots of good pot. in normal consumer weights in my area anyway you do not get price breaks for buying multiple eighths, unlike with mids or shwag. good pot here goes 50/eighth 100/quarter 150/three eighths 200/half and so on for the most part till you get into large quantities....

with cheaper pot you usually get at least a 5 dollar discount per every eighth you buy past one, and sometimes more of a discount than that (depending on a lot of things)

little things like that really do add up

but hell, like i said, i've not known many people at all who could make a good living off of just selling weed, regardless of type
