I think that everyone on the hip forums that is interested in this should stand up and make a stand.. dolphins and whales are going to be extinct befor we know it, and norway japan and iceland are ignoreing all our pleas. this is an extract from the site save the whales again: Masayuki Komatsu, Japan's former Fisheries Minister had this to say: "There are so many whales ...they are the cockroaches of the sea... At the IWC, we want to aim for the resumption of commercial whaleing". i want to stop these barbaric killings but every site i've been on has wanted a donation and i dont have a credit card. i hope people on here take note of this thread, do their own research, and puts an end to these heartless killings.
But instead of seperating ourselves into a hundred million tiny self-isolating issues, why don't we pool our minds and resources together and create a campaign called "Save Mother Earth"?? We're living in revolutionary times now and it's important to unite together. Dolphins, whales, elephants, rainforests, the melting ice-caps, the American Union, the shredding of the U.S. Constitution, etc. We no longer have the time to go after each cause 1 by 1. We need to come together as one revolutionary front. We need to attack the head, not 1 finger at a time!
i agree with you there. the other thing though is that 75% of americans from what i've read, are opposed to the killing of whales yet the bush government aint doing nothing. some species of whale are endangerd too. yet the counties i have allready mentioned are killing more. it really is heartless. these whales are left to bleed to death, and not only that, do you know the way they capture the dolphins?? the get poles and bang them down the side of their ship infereing with their navigation and they get confused. that way they are easily able to heard the dolphines into doing what the hunters want. sorry if i'm rambleing i just feel very passionate about this... i know that there is also stuff going down with global warming, rainforests etc, etc. but seriously we can ask the government to do something, but are they going to listen??? i dont even know if the email people provide will even get the appropriate person... i'll finish up now....
