According to wikipedia, AT LEAST 1,010 people were executed in China in 2006. However, some estimates have the number ranging from 7,500 to 8,000 people. Not to mention the whole "Free Tibet!" thing...

I don't hate or fear the Chinese, but I don't trust their products, and choose not to buy them. As a consumer I have that right.

i have nothing against the chinese people. however i believe that its government's disregard for environmental protection, human rights and animal rights are deplorable. not to mention it's lack of democracy, its ambition to dominate taiwan and tibet, its holding hostage of the american economy (though this is the fault of our own corporate crooks)
