Wild Turkey 101, straight from the bottle

How many of you would go toe-to-toe with me drinking Wild Turkey 101 from the bottle, right here, right now - swig for swig? Doesn't really mean anything if you're up for it, and there's no shame in chickening out. I'm just curious. If I were to hand you a 375 mL flask of Wild Turkey to match mine, how many of you would take it to the fucking limit with me right now?

Fuck yeah brother. I've probably had 3 shots worth so far, but taken in more like 7-8 sips. This is after several beers, though.

 

i remember talkin to my dad about wild turkey when we seen it on a movie. i dunno if you have seen the movie grindhouse: death proof but they drink it in there. its some cheap stuff and my dad said it was some pretty nasty shit but i dont really like drinking either way so ill just stick with the mary jane.

 

I'd go shot for shot with you, with just about anything but wild turkey. Never could stomache that stuff.

 

shot for shot? probably not. pull for pull? definitely. Something about the actual act of taking shots makes me feel like a low life. I used to spend a lot of time with a college club hockey team. I had retired my skating days, but in the summers we'd sit in the pool at our college apartment, cook on the grill down beers, and pull on wild turkey all day, and chew shit loads of copenhagen ahhh memories.

 

hahahaha it is nasty stuff. My roommate, who is a huge badass in just about any way you could be a badass (with the possible exception of achievement in athletics), refuses to drink it with me. It takes a special person to drink Wild Turkey 101 straight from the bottle.

i didnt realize wild turkey had a reputation as being badass...if anything i'd have guessed it was considered hillbilly hooch...

i like it well enough, but i've only ever purchased it once at normal 808 proof and taken a couple of shots of 101....

neither were particularly amazing. the 101 had a little more of a pleasing character, though, but thats my inner drunk speaking most likely

 

and while i'm not drinking wild turkey, i have hadabout half a litre of cruzan black strap navy rum....and made a new gravity bong tonight....everythings pretty awesome

 

just the thought of it makes me sick

I enjoy a nice Woodford Reserve on the rocks every now and again, but wild turkey is just to um.... Manly for me.

Woke up with a nasty hangover a few hours ago. Thankfully it has subsided somewhat, but damn.

 

I hate to break it to you but when I was 15 that's all me and my buddy use to drink. So, if a 15 year-old can do it...


Now... If you can take everclear straight from the bottle that's different.
