thanks dready fam the blue bead is very special to me, my friend farren (who has had dreads for 7 years) gave it to me at our moving party (we recently moved 1000 km to a new province). she told me she got it from a friend who made it at burning man, and the friend went through a rough time. she wore it in her hair until she was through her rough time and gave it to farren who was going through a rough time. farren got through it and gave it to me...i've never taken it out since. that was sept 23. when i am through my rough spot, i will give it to a friend that needs it. i don't know if i'll be out of that anytime soon though, i still have no friends here D:
rye, your dreads look awesome! they actually look a lot like mine but with less loose hair. i hope youll be able to settle into your new home soon. my aunt recently moved to ontario from bc and shes having a really tough time finding a job and just getting by let alone finding friends.
thank you that must be tough for your aunt. at least i have my husband and roommate and son. well, and some cousins.
