I'm pretty sure I know what this means, but thought it was interesting and felt like sharing.

I've always been very attached to the house I grew up in and once I moved out of it, I dreamed about it an awful lot. Anytime I dreamed I was home, I was there, not in any of the three houses I've lived in since in the past 8 years.

Well, the last time I dreamed about the house, I was walking down the hall toward the living room, then it started to bleed over into the living room of one of the houses I've lived in since (don't remember which one). It was this weird combination, double-vision like version of both houses melded together. (My brother and mom were here too.) It felt really weird, like I was standing in two places. I don't know quite how to explain it. It wasn't like standing with one foot in one room and the other in the adjacent room, it was like crossing into a parralel universe sort of. Like two places were existing together in the same place as one. I didn't like it at all and I think I was a little scared. Then it became the living room of the more recent house, my old house was gone. I'm pretty sure I haven't dreamed about it since.

I think it means I've let go of my childhood and moved on. 'Home' is wherever I choose it to be now, and it's people instead of a place. But I do still look very fondly on that place. :)

That is an interesting dream. The Dreaming can be a very scray and unexplainable place. I think you are right about how you have 'moved on' from your childhood home. If you have any similar dreams, you should try meditation, focusing only on the dream and what answers lie within it. Maybe keep a dream diary? But my best assumption is that the worst is over.

I kept a dream diary for awhile and really enjoyed it, I found it helped me recall more dreams and more detail, but I got out of the habit. I intend to start again. Meanwhile, I've just been recording the ones that stand out to me.
