No, this is not the picture that has been painted. I have been closely following the developments between the US and Iraq since before the first gulf war. I have also been following the rise of Al Qaeda since they started bombing embasies in the mid to late 1990s, and Clinton's feeble attempts to stop them. I have listened to the people in the video at the time they said what they said. I am not going to forget about why we are here and there. And neither should anyone else. The 'whys' and the history are what it's all about, because that is the real story of what has happened. You'd like to think we can't say for sure because that gives you an opportunity to fill the so called gaps with your America-hating propaganda. The fact is we do know what happened very well. The information is out there if you would let go of your hatred and see what it says. If you continue to deny the words coming out of their own mouths, then you have issues that I cannot deal with.

No building caves in on itself for no reason. Do you think when the twin towers fell they just neatly collapsed? No they left tons of debries all over the area. All that weight on tower 7 weakened it until it fell. Yes, I was paying attention then too. Where were you?

If those thousands of people are Al Qaeda or other muslim fundamentalists, yes, I'd rather them be dead. As for the thousands of Iraqi citizens that died, the majority of them died at the hands of their fellow mid-easterners, namely Al Qaeda and Iranian fighters because they don't care if the people they are 'protecting' get in the way.

I took this to mean that you thought I was lying. If I am wrong about that, then you believe what I said. So which is it? Is what said true or not? This was a discussion, until HTH arrived. Most here respect each other enough to continue a discussion without throwing out personal attacks, even though they may not agree with each other. HTH is the real troll here. She is always the insitgator. Look through her past posts and notice how many contain valuable contributions and how many contain flames. You will see that the majority is the latter. If you haven't noticed it before, you will now. HTH rarely contributes anything valuable to a conversation.

Hipforums seems to pride itself on free speech. Differences in opinion is healthy, educates people in many instances, adds life to the forums, and allows a conversation to continue. What is usually not tolerated, and what is counterproductive to the above mentioned qualities of the forums, is the attitude that you seem to project. That is, if somebody does not agree with you, you throw flames and instigate personal attacks until the thread derails and becomes useless. In my opinion, someone can be anti-war but still exhibit every reason why they should be banned, such as yourself.

Thank you for proving my point. You offer no productive contribution, so why are you here? I am no one to dictate the direction of these forums, but from my observation the mods are smart enough to know what contributes to a valuable conversation and what does not. I am not one to "snitch", as people like you are insignificant anyhow, and usually end up self destructing. I am also not interested in anyway of "taking this place over", and if you want to act immature and just flame people, then in my mind your absence is welcome. Let the adults talk.
