I just picked up some weed and the weed, while looking good and smelling good, seems very hard to the touch.

Will it be okay to smoke? It grinds okay.

Anything I could do to soften it up perhaps, or doesn't it matter?

Some herb is just dense, other stuff is fluffy.

doesnt matter, its just dense. i personally find it to be a desirable quality, so long as it wasnt achieved by compression

Eh you just got some compressed bud.... Compressed is really good to smoke outta pipes, it burns hella long.

    Two theories:

    Naturally dense bud = good

Compressed dense = not as good, but might burn for a while when smoked thru a pipe

Keep us posted on the outcome of the smokes with this weed.
