how different are the tryptamines?

how different are the 4-ho and 5-meo's tryptamines from each other? duration? effect? any that have quite different effects? favorites? best visual

The differences are all subjective. Not just tryptamines but RCs in general.

One tripping partner of mine loves foxy (5-meo-dipt) above all other RCs, while I can barely tolerate it. Meanwhile I dig 4-aco-mipt, while he is bored with it. Each RC certainly has characteristics that are common to everyone's experience (audio distortions, CEV, OEV, speediness, body load, etc) but everyone responds differently to those characteristics. Of course dosage is a big factor, and also trip setting makes a big difference in your experience. Best thing is to try as many RCs as you can and come to your own conclusion. :tongue:

However, by reading this and other forums, and from my own personal experiences, it seems all the RCs ultimately are compared to LSD. IMO, RCs are like sub-sets of LSD, however that's not a bad thing.

cool thanks. i ask mainly because with the 4-oh's it seams common for people to say they are very similar to psilocin. in fact in tihkal shulgin even says that for some of them he doubts one could tell the difference in a blind test. The 2c's i've researched seem quite different from each other in visual style, mental state, duration and body feel. of the tryp's i've only researched psilocin from its natural source unfortunately.
