it is 6 all the way around. it is longer in back than the photo makes it look... http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s172/Clickster21/mehhair.jpg please let me. know.
yeah thats long enough. if you backcomb, they will be like almost half as short, though. then they would fall out. i would just start natural
i have stopped brushing...for over a month...and i was with dr bronners. and dilute it. not much knottyness is appearing though. lame?
get a wool beanie and wear it for a month solid, or even just a bandana. i did a bandana for a month and a half, then switched to a wool beanie, and now my dreads are finally pronounced. its been three months and some change and i finally see dreads poppin in. i tried to backcomb but when they all fell out i went over to another board and found the path to rightousness in natural route
i thought u had backcombed ur hair before? i remember it being backcombed not that long ago and they looked good.... what happened?
backcombed and washed it about 4 days after with regular shampoo and everything came out and that was 3 months ago...then i went over to knottylocks to bitch about it and all of the naturalist purist guys got to me...so now here i am...eep! (best decision i ever made - not to re-backcomb)
i did have em backcombed, then swimming made em real loose, so i took em out. i just redid them yesterday though, so im gonna see wat happens. how these lookin for day two people? any advice? http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s172/Clickster21/dreadvaters.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s172/Clickster21/dreadsagain.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s172/Clickster21/dreadcrazy.jpg
they look great, but dont worry about them coming out, its gonna happen and you just gotta let it. they will reform eventually, believe me. you could try rounding the tips with a crochet hook or felting needle though if you really want to force them to stay backcombed.
