No, thankfully I haven't. And I'll never quit. Even if they hire someone to watch my back 24/7, I will never quit on free will. EVER!!

    Viva la Marijuana!!!!

Yes, ticketed for possession. I was placed in a program (still isn't over, August 10th seems so far away) and on UAs and can't have any legal issues other than traffic violations until I'm done. Otherwise, I get to go to court... goody!

I luckily somehow haven't. I'd be screwed if a cop searched my car. I'm suprised I've never been pulled over too because whenever I have pot on me I usually cruise around and smoke it out of my huge glass bowl on the street haha.

You can refute a legal search; even if you don't have anything illegal in your car. I would.

Yea but if I was ever doing anything suspicious that might get them thinking they could easily bring in a k9 unit and bam the dog would go crazy barking at my trunk.

amazingly I was caught by the police taking a bong hit in my house in Vermont which was in the middle of nowhere and I didn't get in trouble - not even a ticket. This is a very long long story, and it wasn't stupid that I got caught - the cop actually stopped by to take an statement concerning a murder trial

one of the weirder moments in my life

Don't the police need to have reasonable suspicion (I believe it's not probable cause, but one step down) to call in a K9?

Anyway, usually if a cop would ask for consent, I'd tell him no. If he asked why, you could just say you're in a hurry and would rather not have him tear up your car looking for things you don't have.

And you should tell the story, dhs. Sounds like an interesting on.

the guy I bought weed off in high school was essentially the scapegoat for someone who commited a murder. The murderer said he didn't do it and blamed it on my dealer. The only time my dealer left his house that evening was with me in my car to go score some nugs. The cop was stopping by my house to take a statement concerning this. I had just got home from work, I lived on the ground floor, had my large windows open with a fan going, blowing the smoke out of the window, had my tunes up very loud so I didn't hear the cop pull up and in mid tube, I glance to towards the window and there is a cop standing in it.

Concerning the trial and the investigation there were many weird things that happened along the way. For instance, just before the trial started I had driven to Florida to go pick mushrooms, yet I had to cut the trip short as I was supeanad to stand trial as a witness.

Man, this is a long, long story - one of the weirdest things I've ever experienced. You'll need a VERY big bag of popcorn for me to explain it all. Wild times. The cop actually confiscated my bong and when he tried to dump it out, he spilled the nastiest bong water ever all over his hands. :)

The things I've gotten myself into over the years.:$

i was caught with a bong at school my sophomore year(hard to believe it's been 2 years)
and got cited for it. this was just after i got off probation too. but luckily i got a new probation officer and she was cool. didn't test me or anything and just had me take a drug & alcohol class for a week at school.

so my punishment was probation for a week, and meeting new stoner's in drug class.

it wouldn't suprise me to find that the people who have quitted smoking pot after having legal troubles don't look through this part of the forum anymore. don't you think so?

I got busted once for DWI because we had just smoked in the car. Then at the trial, I was going to plead guilty to reckless operation and pay a fine because the results of the drug test weren't back yet. Both the prosecutor and me agreed to that, but the judge didn't. A few years before that, I was arrested for DUI, but blew below the legal limit. So they amended it to reckless op then. She saw that and wanted to wait it out for the test results. Well, two months later when the results came back, all charges were dropped because my test came back negative. What I learned is that if you're clean, it takes more than 2 hours before it'll show in your urine (that's how much time passed between smoking and pissing in the cup). Either that, or the state crime lab is inept.
