Got to be Soul Sacrifice. Apparently Bill Graham wouldn't let them have the Airplane unless they took Santana as well - although that story may be apocryphal, it sounds pretty much like Graham's way of doing things. Mike Shrieve's is the only drum solo I've ever really enjoyed (Toad? Moby Dick? Bleaugh!) And, oh God, that beautiful curvy girl dancing, towards the end, oh my heart! I'd have loved to be there - with HER!
Easily Sha Na Na. Not kidding. I like rock-n-roll and they played it straight up. Great band pre-tv show.
country joe andthe fish but i dont know the title. Sly and the family stone were my fave. (the hendrix performance stands apart) The dude from canned heat is hard to look at and the dude singing with grace slick(jeffersonstarplan) gets, most shit faced award.
or not canned heat the hard to look at dude is "ten years after" --endless guitar rippaged. Is that what I'm thinking of? Utterly forgetable
going home by TYA, Jimi hendrix inprovisations... joe cocker style, Janis voice, Huuhh and Jefferson airplane with ther psy music...
