...it's the magic number. Yes it is, it's the magic number. Anyhow. Math... so many people seem to hate it. I've always enjoyed Math in school, I'm actually kinda sad that I took the last math class of my life last semester in school. I have also always enjoyed Blind Melon, but that's a different story. So yeah... anyone actually like math out there?
I hate math lol... I was never ever good at it. I wish I were though, it'd make things a whole lot easier.
it frustrates me...i don't hate it...but right now math is tied to deep personal problems i have inside my head....so yea, frustrating but i odn't hate it
It is the magic number, after all. Yet math and sex don't really combine... unless you have a cute Asian math teacher.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPzAjiLr5Zw Funny, I've been teaching my boyfriend basic math this week. I've had to post pics to show him how to answer questions because of the distance.
I loathe that song I didn't mind maths (we call it maths here), It was one of those things where if you didn't get it then you were screwed but if you got it then you felt great that you could do it. Or at least thats how i felt. it was always really rewarding to get one of those really looooong problems right in the end. but frustrated me to no end when i fucked up. Id probably enjoy learning maths now than when i was in highschool.
That's awefully nice of you Spence. We should film it too... make money on that double penetration. Heh, I was just watching that video because the song came to my head out of nowhere... which is why I decided to post this thread. Relating it to math was just an excuse to get this song stuck in all of your heads. I think that some people don't like it because they associate it with School House Rock. I myself was never exposed to that show... I just like Blind Melon. It's pretty cool how practically every American knows this song though.
I never liked Blind Melon OR math. I got up to pre-Calculus in high school, but it was right after lunch so i was often stoned and wondering what the hell was going on as the rest of the class seemingly answered and repeated phrases in sing-song unison
My Anthropology teacher showed that video in class just like... 2 weeks ago It's was nice to see all the reactions of the people in the class... it's also sad that they were never aware of this to begin with... oh well. Did you run off to smoke in the bathrooms Gary? I've only gone to class high a few times, even in college. It's just something that I don't let myself do. I don't really study for tests, and I retain information extremely well when I listen in class. Plus, I like to participate in discussions and stuff if the topic interests me. (I'm constantly talking in Literature classes... my teachers worship me!)
We could go anywhere we wanted a lunch in High School, so we generally got high in cars/houses/under bridges/in the woods In college I would try not to be high in class, however the town was made of marijuana and streams ran with acid so that could sometimes prove difficult
Yeah, I went to high school on acid once. i didn't mean too. Just dropped around 4am. Thought I could get out of school the next day, but it turned out my mom was home. I was 15 at the time. Hell of a day.
Yes, my college town is full of drugs and I have way too many damn drug connections. That's what you get for being nice to people. It's really nice to have an endless supply of the ganj... but it has made some people I know into complete hopeless lazy potheads... no good. That's pretty cool that you got to go home from school. My damn school wouldn't even let me walk out senior year. I had to bum rides from friends to get out of school... crazy ass private school. I did get to meet all of my friends' parents though.
i was always really good at math, but i always found it incredibly boring. i haven't taken a math class since my first semester of college. i was also really good at logic, which is basically math with letters, and for some reason i also enjoyed that. i also enjoy blind melon
I knew people who did acid at school and it sounded like a NIGHTMARE to me Once I looked over at a guy who drew a sailboat on his desk and was watching it move around in the woodgrain waves I guess the next year our school stopped letting people go because these people at a nearby school piled about 8 people into a car and got in a wreck and a girl died and others were seriously injured
That sucks. We had a couple of kids get kidnapped and murdered when they skipped school around a year before I went to highschool. I never knew them. Lots of kidnappings in Honduras though.
