I'm FedExing my computer and putting my weed in some socks in a spare harddrive bay behind wires. The last place anyone would ever look, if they ever happen to open my case (24 hour shipping = not that much time to look through it anyways). However, I still have a full day and half worth of blazing before I go on my plane back home for the holidays. My plane now is to fold my pipe into some socks and put it in the bag that I am NOT carrying on. (Glass can be considered a weapon for Carry-on) I live in Canada and this is a domestic 1 hour flight. What do you think my chances are of getting into shit with this?
Yeah, make sure its real clean. If theres no weed on it, then they cant charge you for anything. Being your in Canada you should deffently be fine. Things arent nearly as tight there. Nor do they really care about a bit of resin on a pipe. And besides. If they catch you, im sure your car could outrun their horses anyday.
They x-ray all of the baggage you check-in. They will find it and will fuck you over if they wish to. (Unless it's brand new, as the other posters said... then it's a tobacco pipe and they can't prove otherwise). Might as well leave it behind and just buy a new one, or make a ghetto ass one.
You should just leave it behind.... and not take the chance.. Like BraveSirRubin said.. either buy a new one, or make one.. Good luck!
I wouldn't take that risk. I think if it's really clean as new it might be ok. Carrying some tobacco might help
yeah, you'll be fine. I got a pipe in my pipe home from montreal to halifax in my checked luggage without problem
I forgot to mention that i have taken pipes, new and used on domestic US flights many times. I even didnt bother cleaning a couple perfectly once and i was fine. I have taken them with me on board to. All you have to do is put it in your cargo pocket and make sure that you dont have anything that would set the thing off on you. they cant search you without reason. Plus they only pat down the areas that set off the wand if you do set off the big metal detector, and the piece wont.
