Quote text: (alt+q) Quote text: (alt+q) Poor Satan, so misunderstood. Genesis indicates that to know God we must study and know good and evil. After all, this is why God gave us the tree of good and evil. Scripture also indicates that all of God’s works are Perfect. This makes Satan Perfect to accomplish the work of helping us learn of good and evil. Job tells us that Satan is in the complete control of God. Doing His bidding at all times. Since Satan is the only angel who has been given free access to man, we should recognize that He is above the other angels. One could say that He works more directly with God than all the other angels. God’s number one angel. Why then do most absolutely hate this Satan. He is closer to God than any of us. He at least know of the good and evil that we live with and must learn from. Should we not do as scripture indicates we should do and hate sin while loving the sinner. Or in this case love the one who is causing us to sin at God’s urging? Should we love Satan? Would Jesus apply His saying to him? Regards DL
Good would have no value if it wasn't compared to something. Satan performs his function so that you can have a choice. x
I believe hell is very real and if you want to spend eternity there, love him. Evil won't love you back though.
yup, the Bible claims Satan is a perfect creation of God. and then you must believe he wanted Lucifer to rebel and create hell - for if he wasn't suppossed to, he couldn't be perfect so then you have two choices - does God lie about perfection? or is there no such thing as free will? (which the Bible never claims to exist, but many modern day Christian organization uphold) predestiny is one of the major things that turns me away from Christianity
Sure am. Satan is just a name that represents all evil. We were given the tree of knowledge so that we could learn why we follow God. Without it we are knowledge less drones, not knowing much of anything. To test the theory, can you come up with any idea or issue where good and evil do not play a part? I can't. Regards DL
Like all of God's Perfect works, he is perfect for the job. Sounds like you may recognize the Perfection of God's system and that we live in a Perfect universe. Am I correct? Regards DL
Because Satan is doing exactly what God wants. He is here to show us the evil branch of the tree. Without him we could not get closer to God. Regards DL
God would not suffer a hell to ruin His once and still is, spotless continence. To have need for a hell, God would have to admit that He screwed up on His record of creating all souls Perfect. How do you see God creating souls. Good, good, oops, good, oops. God does not do oops. Ye of little faith. Give God the ability to do things right. Regards DL
God recognizes the uncertainty principle. The future is not writen. If it were, God would be bored to tears, always knowing what was coming and this would also mean that life is useless to God. Since we live then we are useful to reality. Regards DL
There is no such thing as accidents. Everything is contained within "God". There is nothing exterior, as this would imply another duality. It is in duality that one finds imperfection. x
Why should God accept anyone into Heaven, if they didn't accept Him into their life? He has not screwed up on anything, good and evil both exist in this broken world. You go to hell for sinning and for not following Jesus. God gave us the ability to choose, people use that choice and do wrong a lot of the time, it's not much God is asking!
If duality exists then as contained within God and if God is Perfect then it to must be Perfect. Accidents are part of evil. Evil is a tool to learn. God does not micro manage. He is too busy. If He was the direct cause of accidents then He would rest on the sabbath and we would have one day a week free of accidents. Regards DL
