Someone Please Help Me!

"Ok. so a couple of friends and i went carshoppin one night. we checked peoples car to see if it was open and if so, take anything thats valuable!

well we got caught by the cops! and i took all the blame for it. we checked atleast 10 cars and got dvd players and $250 in cash which was taken away! it was 4 of us and i took all the blame! the other 3 only got $50 curfew tickets and they handled it like 2 months ago.

it's taking forever and i haven't received any info about it at all yet! the thing is i'll be 18 on january 1st...
i havent gotten anything in the mail yett! What i am wondering is what the consequences will be. Im not worried about the cost of the fine or the hours of community service! im wondering about if my record would get really messed up or if there will be any other consequences??

I had an ex who would steal pennies, just so people would realize the left their car unlocked, but dvd players? that is horrendously fucked up.

don't worry man, people on these forums find any excuse they can to argue with someone instead of giving advise.
you will probably get charged in a couple months when you get a court date in the mail. it's all up to the judge to decide if you are tried as an adult or minor, but either way man your screwed. next time you see cops, don't stop running until you're lungs explode.

Well, if it was just a one time things that stupid minors do sometimes, then it was a mistake and you will learn from it. The only thing is, if you get caught doing something like that dude, then you're on your own. Only the judge can determine your sentencing now...
