    im not going to be old enough to vote in the 08 election. i miss the cut off date by like a month. but i still want to support Ron Paul. so heres my plan. im going to buy 1500 pamphlets off his website, 1000 of which are directed towards young people and distribute them. ill slip them into lockers of seniors and juniors in my school and the school i used to go to and ill put them on car wind shields, hand them out in malls, shopping centers. all the money is a donation to his campaign so im also helping out that way. its only $45 to buy 1500 of them. and since i have a job, thats not alot at all.

    i dont really have enough free time to comit to real volunteer groupsand i would feel out of place being 17 with mostly adults all around so i felt like this would be a good way for me to be active and show i care about my country. i dont wanna be one of those kids who doesnt give a shit. i wanna at least attempt to make a difference. this seem like a good plan?

    Man, that sucks. Now you gotta wait 4 years untill you can vote for a president. Luckily for me, I turn 18 only 5 days before the election. But good luck doing what you're doing!

    Actually this is maybe even more efficient than just voting. By doing this, instead of having just one vote, he'll have alot more. Good job!

  6. When ALL of you are old enough to vote consider this;
    When they were considering raising the drinking age from 18 to 21 they managed to pull it off because of two things, 1 that voters under 21 were not a dynamic group anyone could count on for a consistent vote, and, whenever they did run into resistance they simply added a "Grandfather Clause" so that those presently 18 would be able to keep drinking legally till they were 21.

    Unfortunately turning this around will be a monumental task, but with all this war action happening it might be easier. I personally think it's a shame a man or woman can put their lives on the line for his country but don't get to have a drink at the airport as they head out for possible combat duty. If we are going to let them die like adults, they should be able to live like adults too!

    PS: Military service sucks even without a war!
