I'm bumping this thread back from the vaults of history... This is an important question. Does anybody like Wilco? And the positive answers will be scarce, but very enthusiastic... Wilco is the BEST BAND that very few know about... Jeff Tweedy for Poet Laureate! I am a new convert, but have bought 5 of their 7 albums in less than two months... (Thanks to Nick and Em for the killer gift certificate!)
I used to love them... until they got a Grammy!!!! But seriously, they've carved out a real special place in my world. I'm looking forward to the Tweedy show at the Vic in a couple weeks.
