Egg nog is delicious if it's the right kind. There is this stuff made locally that the grocery stores carry around the holidays that costs literally $9.00 for a half gallon. It's all natural and contains no carragennan. It's superb, but I am not quite sure it's worth that amount.
You can make egg nog out of eggs by yourself, it's really easy and really yummy (although not very safe... depending on the eggs).
strainge, odd, interesting stuff. something to try once or twice. not something i couldn't get through the year without. my wife likes it so she gets it. i load mine up with chocklet and coffee. but then i do like egg creams, which is basicly chocklet and soda, with no egg and no cream. well milk maybe. you just make chocklet milk and pour in ginger ale or unflavored seltser. i haven't tried yet mixing sprite and nog, though we have both in the house, or did. i need to throw out the spoiled nog from there being more of it then anyone drank. maybe the next time she brings some home i'll try that. it can probably be used in some kinds of cooking. like maybe eggnog pancakes or muffins or something. =^^= .../\...
jag-nog....egg nog with jagermeister....It's sooo good! oh.just.imagining.it...makes me feel the need to go be alone for a while...
I've only tried the shit once, and it made me gag. No one in my family likes it, and I can't see myself every drinking it again.
i guess every one has there own tastes.... i love it,i just added milk and ice cream and made a egg nog shake, not to healty but who cares.
I like egg nog (spiked with rum of course!), but its way too full of fat for me, so I haven't indulged in quite a few years.
