during christmas i'm probably gonna be asked to play guitar for my family

not that i'm real bad but i never play in front of my family, what do you guys play usally just random bits of songs or what?

 

play what you feel like playing at the moment.

or dont play at all. you wont know till the time is at hand but at that moment go with your gut.

no use tryin to plan it,will only prove to cause you undo stress..

 

I could go on all day long playing Bach and Torroba and Tarrega and Albeniz and Chopin etc. on classical guitar. But no one cares to come and listen! Just play whatever you are familiar and comfortable with and be thankful that people actually take an interest in your talents. Merry Christmas

Start with something heavy, like Deicide or Slayer, it'll be over before you know it.

 

all you gotta do is a little 1-4-5 action (like G/C/D... or E/A/B) and make it all shuffly and bluesy and sing somethin bout how your cow wont give any milk or how a one eyed german shepherd who asked for a square ate your baby... tis most simple sorry its december 29th, but thought i'd suggest it anyway.
