Bulgaria/Turkey,Istanbul and a poor american.

Anybody from, or have been to these countries. Im visiting for 10 days in Bulgaria, then 4 days in Istanbul, Turkey. Anything I should expect? Ive never been out of the country. Will I be in a total loss without knowing thier language?

 

i am from Bulgaria:}:}:}here right now its liitle cold but its strange that u are visiting Bulagria in the winter.In the summer its much more beautiful and i ll enjoy it more,i think:}
the peopel are really warm,its cheap,i think u ll have a great time:}wich parts of Bulgaria u are goin to visit?And bout 70 procent of the people of Bulgaria know English so dont worry bout the language;:}just if u have some problems just ask some young people(i ams ure theu ll know english):}so wish great time and maybe we can see each other somewhere in the streets of Bg:}:}:}

I'm going to sofia to visit friends.

 

I worked at a beach and met alot of Europeans. I hung around the Bulgarians the alot. But I know there are ameri-haters, inevitably thier everywhere. The language barrier was my biggest concern. Im leaving tommorow-

my dad took me to Sofia years ago and I must say that it was really cool..I was amazed about the fact that everyone speaks English and many other languages..!
I went to a club at night and it was real cool man!!
