what abouth hippie country somewhere

I think we should practicly show the world thatwe can all live in peace love and harmony by creating a hippie land, give me your opinion, I hed idea how to organise it but I want your opinion. I've alweys dreemed of it so let make that dream come thruth.

Well i think that with the hippy lifestyle we can not create out own country. Hippes are free, you can not organise them

Well, if we were so free, we wouldn't be being put in jail for smoking a joint, protesting against the war, and on and on. If we had any brains we really would organize our own country. We should probably buy an island in the middle of the ocean as a start.

 

That would be a great idea. I'd love to see that happen. Where would you locate it?

 

I think that's can not happened because we whould not have so much money but we can ask to get some free. Because we are free we can harmonise easyer and build free society. If we do that there shouldn't be no laws or any institutions there will not be money because we won't need them, maybe it is a dream but dreams can come true if you/we follow it...

 

I don't know how well this would work; some capitalist pig would come in and offer something everyone wants.

 

Hippie nation? There are some Rainbow Family that would object loudly if I claimed that a hippie nation already exists, but I'll do it anyway.

 

where exactly would this country go? i can feel another israel coming on... only with less fighting and more smoking and psychedelia.

 

sounds kinda nice...i will think on this every time i go out into the world and get the unfriendly, weird looks because i don't drive a shiny new vehicle or wear shiny new fashions off the rack or paint my face on or say yes when they ask if plastic is okay at the grocery store.

 

Well I think hippie nation do exists, in fact I don't feel like macedonian I feel like hippie.
I think we could ask for place to locate it, in some inernational institutions, we can not find ourselfs in our societys so we have right to ask for a place where we can built society as we like. I think first we should organise in a gobal oranization which will enclude local organizations, and fight that way.
As for the law I think they won't need we can live in harmony and help ichother, and educate our childrens in that way so they will be free an if they are free they won't want to take someone's freedom as I don't want, as you don't want(I think you don't). Am I right?

 

why is this in communism anyway? some would object to a communist state, judging by posts on this forum

 

Idon't no I just put it here, maybe I should put it in hippies, but in a way I think this is similar to comunisam and anarhisam but in a way diferen I think is diferent from comunisam in the thing that comunist contry has it's goverment.

a hippie nation? this sounds like asking the united nations that built up a state with people on the basis of shared ideals. there is this right for self-determination for people, but this right is probably only meant for peoples with common descent culture, language, religion. I don't think that this goes for people with a certain lifestyle.

i think it is a good thing to dream and to think outside of the box, but i also think you should start at the bottom.

in the end states are superficial constructions that exist because of history, the middle ages and the feudal system in western europe and the colonisation of the world by the west after that. this does not mean that there is no such thing as culturally constructed peoples, but in the end states are superficial and they cause a lot of trouble. based on what do you think common africans are prevented to visit western europe? they have no right to do so, because they have no right to enter the state.....

 

People do that because they think stalin was a comunist but he wasn't,he was just a man who wanted to rule,beeing a hippie is more than lifestyle,it is free culture,free mind,free life,and more,it is diferent culture than others,it's mix,maybe not entierly but hippie nation it do exist.
