if Armstrong was the first one on the moon then who is holdin the camera. If you look you will not even see one star.

They mounted cameras on the lander so that they wouldnt need a camera man =P

Research much? The camera was mounted on a mount on the LEM. They released this mount after landing. Called a "Mesa". A coarse in photography would teach you that there are no stars because the camera is set to record the bright lunar surface. Recording stars in the lunar sky would require (like it does on Earth) a longer exposure. At least 10 seconds or so.

    You're welcome.

I think the reason the US gov't planned and executed the WTC killings was to cover up the faked moon landing. I also think that was the real reason for invading Iraq. I mean think about it, from September 11, 2001, until this thread got started, did you even think much about the moon landings--let alone whether or not they were real?

If recognizing sarcasm were the test to define stupidity, then no, I'm not that stupid. And you?

Do the research, We never landed on the moon. Look, the soviet union had already launched a man into space when america couldn't even get a rocket out of the atmosphere without it exploding. The russians where way ahead in rocket technology.

There's a whole bunch of other holes, but I can't be bothered talking about them.

Your parents and teachers have failed you badly. You can't be bothered because you have nothing.

  14. Actually the American and Soviet methods for getting into space were very different. The Russians were content with a simple design using liquid oxygen and gasoline or a similar volatile petrochemical fuel. The power factor is not ideal, so you have to build this sort of thing on a massive scale to reach orbit. The nickname for the early Soviet technology was the "Big Dumb Booster" and made up for bulk with simple, but reliable technology.

The Americans were not content with that sort of design and sought more efficient fuel and oxidizer combinations. These required substantially more complex control and monitoring systems. Ultimately the first American went into space on top of a huge solid propelled booster for political reasons and because the missile booster was totally reliable. It served little more than a national ego boost. But it got funding approved for more development of larger, more efficient systems.

Also, not only did the Americans walk on the moon, they took a car to the moon! I'll wager that car still works just fine (if you take a spare battery). If the moon wasn't important, why on earth would the Chinese want to go there so bad? Naturally they'll get there with copied and acquired American moonshot notes. Imagine the golf games you could have on the moon!

They took a house and a car with them. They went the American way!

Alan Shepard took a golf club head to the moon and whacked some golf balls.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Shepard

"While on the Moon, Shepard played golf with a Wilson six-iron head attached to a lunar sample scoop handle [1]. Despite thick gloves and a stiff spacesuit which forced him to swing the club with one hand only, Shepard struck two golf balls, driving the second, as he jokingly put it, "miles and miles and miles."[3]"

OK, flag flaping in the wind on the moon (ding ding ding). Americans suddenly pulling off a miracle and getting to the moon despite being far behind russians in rocket technology, they sent sputnik into space in 1957 when the usa had trouble getting a rocket off the ground! the astronaughts somehow not being effected by deadly radiation from the sun (the reason to this day why the russians won't send men to the moon), the aerial shot of the moon landing looking exactly the same as an aerial shot of land near are 51. no stars appearing in any of the shots taken while on the moon despite the clarity of space.

No blast crater beneath the lunar lander. as it landed on the moon, and blew away all that dust, there was not a single grain on the foot pads of the lunar, how is that possible? There was zero engine noise as the lunar lander landed on the moon, umm, those thrusters are extremely loud (to make an understatement), how were we able to hear the voices of buzz and amrstrong, over them, let alone not hear the thrusters at all?

On the moon, there is only one source of light; the sun, so any shadows cast will go in the same direction, correct? Why then in the official photos from the moon, are shadows cast in different direction, indicating mutliple light sources? There's a bunch of other issues with these photos as well.

The chance of sending people to the moon, and getting them back safely was something close to .0017%, ie, basically impossible. And don't insult my teachers or parents, that's just childish.
