I know quite a few people that have been through there, they seemed to like it. A university town in some ways because of U of O.

was kinder a few years ago, has a meth problem. as far as i'm concerned if you can find good people that aren't on the junk good things can happen, but be carefull about the people you choose even some of the ones that look kind can be decieving.

Well I must say that Eugene, OR is the coolest town in the whole country! No contest! I have been all over and there is no place like Eugene. As far as the meth thing, I have been here a while now and have not run into one single methhead; I gues its all about what scene you're in to... Good luck and safe journeys.

eugene is a progressive place. the library is fantastic. public transportation there is incredible. i've never seen as many bike riders in a city before. there's even a strong sense of political responsibility there from what i've seen. if you need to visit a larger place, Portland's only three hours away. it'd be difficult to go wrong with eugene.
