I recommend buying the book by Toni Weschler about fertility, Taking Charge Of Your Fertility. I recommend this to everyone, trying to conceive or not. It's amazing and so empowering to know what your body is doing and how it's working.

Abortions should not effect your fertility, at least long term. They are very safe when performed in clinics, unlike in the days before they were legal. The only way I believe they would be effecting you would be any possible emotional blockages or emotional issues you may have with them. I'm not suggesting you should have any, at all! Just if you do that would effect your ovulation but as for a physical cause, it should not be.

when i was trying to get pregnant i remember thinking that when your a teenager and you first start having sex everyone says it only takes once and you could get pregnant. Yeah freakin right lol!!! it only took two months for us and it was the longest two months of my life. try not to worry, i know that makes it harder. there are many schools of thought on what is the best way to conceive, i read them but the thing that did it for us was sex everyday : ) some ppl say thats bad but it worked. good luck itll happen, but dont be discouraged i remember getting my period and crying, just keep our head up!!!

yeah, sounds right! we were thinking that very same idea. but we were unsure whether the sperm looses potency if it's used every day. my man thinks the more it builds, the more there'll be, and the greater the chance of impregnating me. i think it's potent either way, what's the difference between one million sperm and three million? don't know, but sounds kinda fun!

It took 6 years for me to get pregnant.
I don't know why I couldn't in the past and what was so different that cycle, all I know is not-not-trying and trying (I bought the book, ovulation tests etc) didn't do anything for me! It just happened!

I totally agree with Advaya - Toni Weschler's book is a must have for all women :)

Be as I am a guy, and don't really know much about women fertility and such, I can't help much in that department. I can, however, tell you that it will happen when it is meant to.
