I am an atheist.

I have NEVER believed in god for as far back as I can remember.

 

I believe crazy things lol... I am a Christian, but I don't follow what the churches say, I just love Jesus lol! I am also a fan of Buddah, Jah, Shiva and all of those wonderful gods!

 

i believe....i believe well shit i dont know for sure yeah theres something just dont know what for sure, all i know is there is some higher power of some kind

 

i believe in science

 

I live, love, and work for God

 

The poll makes no provisions for my beliefs...

We have a spiritual side but whether there's some sort of heavenly hierarchy is up for debate and smacks of human invention for the purpose of human manipulation.

 

yeah green ive thought about that but how did we evolve and if so like they say we evolved from monkeys/apes, then why are they still around however i we we created by a god how did the god come to be??? i really dont know what i believe, and the big bang what caused it how did it happen and why would everything be so differant how come all the planets are not alike and how did life as we know it come to be ok im stoping now im making my brain hurt life is a very confusing thing....i need go go smoke a cig now peace to you...and hugs for all

It seems to me that to be honest about existance is to be agnostic.Obviously no one knows what comes when we change form.

 

i would love to make another looooong post but i am too burned out so i will another time. but just keep in mind, science has many theories - and i dont believe in apes evolving into us.

The "Who created God?" question kind of only relates to man's limited comprehension of what God is. But God is eternity, itself, as well as creation itself. The physical appears to have been created, but God is not physical.

 

I would say that most people who analyzed my beliefs would consider me a Christian, but I myself do not, because that label holds so much hate and injustice, that I don't want to be associated with it.

I voted "I believe in God but don't have a particular religion", because I do believe in a Supreme Being, or a God, but I refuse to believe that He/She is the "God" that damns all gays to hell, hates Muslims, and/or thinks women have no place in society. I have read the Bible, and have found much of it to be very enlightening, but none of the texts I have really cherished have been from the Old Testament. I'm not saying that it is worthless, but Jesus was extremely radical for his time, and I don't think really regarded the Old Testament with a total and complete reverence and literal standing.

I guess I'm still searching, and I really doubt I will ever stop. I believe in reincarnation, for sure, so my journey has probably just begun.

 

"Who created God?" comes from a mind incapable of thinking beyond the dimensional, tangible concept that characterizes what we as people know. I'm theorizing that such limiting factors are not present in a spiritual dimension.

My stance on the subject is that no one person is truly qualified to tell anyone else that their beliefs (or lack thereof) are false. Most church based religions basically are harnessing the superstitious nature of the masses for the purpose of financial gain and power.

 

Science explains how, not why

 

I try not to worry about religion. I just live my life in the now. So I'm agnostic.

 

Yea I have to agree with you, it's almost entirley true. I dont subscribe to a religion, but I guess Hinduism is what I am most closley related to, being that I use sanskrit words to express that which is without names in English. But even Hinduism has it's elitists and I dont understand God to be of the nature of picking and choosing, being that God is what we all are. At least that's how I feel

 

Religion is just silly.

I'd rather occupy myself with better things... such as chronic masturbation.

 

i'm agnostic and if i didn't smoke weed i'd be atheist, i'm just trying to figure everything about this God guy. Weed's power has made me truely believe that there is something up there possibly

 

not everything needs a reason to exist, most dont anyway
