Shrooms are the best

wow shrooms are just so great.

i am putting it above acid.

just brilliant. so pure. not as intense for me as acid, with so much more vivid sensations. i find with acid my visuals are more like fractal or somehow patterned notions penetrating my consciousness, but with shrooms its more like the universe becomes lubricated and things slip from something to something else organically, like being at a swimming carnival and ducking your head under the water.

i enjoy the length of the trip (though marijuana afterwards seems essential)

and i especially enjoy the after effects. after taking psychedelics (except my first time on acid), i feel very confident and witty, and comfortable with the world i am in so profoundly. normally, i am reminded of so many things, so many worries throughout my day, or disatisfactions. these thoughts have a place in life, we need them to progress through anything in the structured society we have developed. these thoughts can manifest greatly in some people causing clinical disorders

but i honestly have found the comedown from shrooms to be one of my favourite highs ever, my esteem just goes through the roof, but i also feel very humble and diplomtic.

i dont think i would be able to study and work so many hours if i was in that mindset a lot of the time - but when it comes, it has been so wonderful. ive onyl tried shrooms twice and acid twice, so i still have a lot more to learn and oppinionate. but this is my oppinion so far.


i liken the aftereffectof psychedelics to having gone on some huge quest and overcome many challanges and tests and getting home and not taking shit from anyone or anything. just getting high and enjoying being alive in such a beautiful world.

 

That sounds like a very awesome time. How many grams did you eat for that? Would you attempt eating more than what you already have for that previous trip?

 

i dont know the dosages. i just went by whatever my dealer is dealing as doses. but one time i had powdered dry mushroom, and that was my first shroom trip. it was a plastic saddie about the size that youd fit a quarter of weed.
the second shroom trip, i got them from a shroom farmer up the coast and i just got a 50 bag which was enough dried mushroom to fill a small (two or three serve) coffee plunger.

but remember that australian shrooms may have different potency to american or euro shrooms

i too like shrooms a lot. i never tried acid before, but i'm thinking that i would like shrooms a lot better anyway.

 

shrooms are fun....i dont know about the best....but def. fun

mdma/lsd/2ce are far superior imo...ive had too many bad shroom trips where i ate too many and felt as if i was on the brink of death. My intenstines feel like their on the verge of spewing from every orpheus in my body on anything above an 8th of good caps. Sounds gross i know...just imagine how it feels :-D.

 

hmm well i havnt had any nauseous experiences other than right after drinking the tea. perhaps they will come and turn my oppinion in the right direction.

 

It's funny because this is the reason why I prefer magic mushrooms over any other psychedelic :tongue: Earlier this year I was dying 3-4 times a week at least with a huge bag of mushrooms! It was awesome. I only got around to taking LSD 4 times since April this year but I dont mind. I agree with Bill and if his experience is only twice on both then my experience is several hundred times his, and I still say, Mushrooms are what it's all about. But not everyone enjoys having to thank God for still being alive and pain free after taking a drug when your supposed to be having fun -

 

They will come sooner or later, were all bound to have an experience that leaves you begging to whatever greater power there is to make it stop at somepoint, but that's when the real good 'stuff' begins..

 

DOnt get me wrong, i definately like shrooms. Acid is just a cleaner, more euphoric and enlightening type of experience to me. The style fits me alot better than mushrooms. Plus wehn i say i was dying, i didnt mean like ego-dissolution. I had the most painful shrooms enduced gut wrench for six hours...worst shit ever.

 

No I understand Myke, when I 'died' from magic mushrooms, I went into what I can only compare to an extremely painful electric seizure. It felt like my entire body, every single nerve, was in flames at first and then it felt like I was holding onto a live wire. For about 3 hours, at least. I still dont know if I was having an actual seizure or if I just backfired and pulled in too much energy during that meditation session. But whatever it was, no pain I can ever imagine or have lived through came remotley close to that. Pure, absolute hell. My first thought was that I had eaten poisoned mushrooms and if I wasnt paralysed with debilitating shock I was seriously going to phone the police. To this day I have no idea what it was caused by or what it was even from but I was holding on for dear life, begging God to make it stop. -

 

thats wierd when i died on mushrooms i felt better than i ever have on any other drug. my stomache felt warm as hell and fuzzy and alive.

 

Oh yea man, sure I've had plenty of pleasant ego deaths and trascneded consciousness, but this one trip out of hundreds, which I previously thought I was a master of tripping, completely humbled me and put me in the light of being an innocent child who really was learning everything for the first time. Completley hurt more than anything I've ever dealt with though. It is VERY strange....

 

just last saturday i had the worst trip of my life. i ate 4g of mushrooms (the night before i had 3g) and within an hour i was already peaking. i sat in my room under some blankets for most of the trip, just crying my eyes out. i was scared of everything, and i remember listening to just one 3 minute song, and it felt like an eternity. i couldn't leave my room either because my family was home. i tried to escape it by falling asleep but just couldn't do it. it was way more intense than i predicted espiecally since i've never even tripped this hard on LSD.

once i was able to leave my room i looked at my face in the mirror and my jaw became extremely thin, and my face started looking like an upside down triangle. i tried calling my friend, and accidently dialed my house, as well as my grandma's before i finally got the right number (and weirdly, i call him almost everyday, and i know his number by heart). when i was talking to him i was staring outside my front window and my entire neighbourhood started twirling. the tops of the evergreen trees were tipping to the left, and i couldn't keep a straight eye on anything.

the thing that put me in a bad trip was the fact that my grandma called literaly 5 times, asking me to come over and do some house work (she gave me money the day before, and i was supposed to go over there saturday). i really wanted to go do just 20minutes of work, and i probably could have easily gotten away with the fact that i was tripping hard (my grandma has bad hearing, and is oblivious to most things around her).

but i never knew what people meant by how your emotions could go from complete depression to ultimate ecstasy. when i was crying under my blankets in a pitch black room, i finally decided to get up and look out my bedroom window. when i looked at the birds, the snow, and just everything out there, i went into complete bliss. during the bad part of the trip i seemed to have forgotten that there is a whole world outside my bedroom, and there really is nothing to be afraid of. the main thing that i was afraid of was where my life was headed. i've been told by many people i'm a complete druggie failure, yet they have know idea about my life. i smoke dope, and now i'm exploring psychedelics. neither one has REALLY fucked anyone over like many other drugs can. i put my life in my own perspective for a change, and realized that i'm completely happy with what i'm doing, and anyone who tells me that my life is ruined, wouldn't know a thing.

so basically, i also learnt how useful a bad trip can be. before this i never really had one, just some slight discomforts on LSD, and some naseau on LSA, but nothing compared to this. four hours of pure hell has definatly been worth the experience.

Shrooms I still like better just cause they have the quality to them that, your more here on earth. Like LSD seems to be a manual for how to operate consciousness when floating in space. But Mushrooms are like the manual to operate consciousness here on earth. So I always feel like, no matter what happens in mushrooms, there aiding my life here on earth. Then coming down, I just feel like I figured so much out. I feel like a zen master.

 

Yeah, I always feel like I know everything when I'm shroomin.

 

I was fortunate enough to lbe in Okinawa for awhile. There, the mushrooms are legal. You can buy them at alot of bars, but they aren't as good a quality as from individual growers/dealers. I had a hookup that would meet me at a gas station anytime I needed. He always arrived in a different car. His was the cleanest most brilliant of any shrooms I have ever experienced. Great beautiful colored highs that seemed to last forever. It became so casual we'd carry our shrooms to a restaurant and order miso soup and dump in some shrooms. Sitting there casually eating the soup until madness kicked in. There is something completely helpless about wondering about, tripping as a white male amongst a sea of yellow faced people. All of this leads to my best shroom trip ever occuring in a bathroom. I completely figured everything out in a small bathroom of no significance. The point of it being, it doesn't matter where, just as long as it's there.

 

I have fried a couple hundred times. These bad trips your speaking of. I have had 5 of them now, But i was very thankful afterwards. It made me respect the drug, like never before... But alsoit reallymade me appreciate reality. I never took reality for granted ever since. And since these experiences i learned how to control bad trips, and how to go into the trip to possibly avoid bad experiences.. I would say that acid is my favorite though.. It lasts much longer, I would say more intense, but i have had some extemely intense trips on shrooms.. Acid is much cleaner. Not the sick dying feeling.At least in my case..

But i live the body trip on shrooms, also. As long as i dont get cramps and vomit then i like the shrooms body trip better

I'm not sure about anyone else, but when I'm coming down from a bad trip I get a slightly stimulated with a bit of euphoria. at least that's how it was on my bad trip. i ate them at 1. tripped bad for 3 or so hours, and my grandma and grandpa came over for supper, and i just felt really good, and i was talking to them quite a bit. it was like a caffeine stimulated high with a slight bit of some kind of feel good drug. it's probably just because that trip changed my whole way of thinking, and it gave me a bit of an ego boost as well, so i guess that's what it was.
