I did have T-Mobile with AIM but that was a bit of a pain... so today I got Verizon Wireless... as the phone was free and my mom knows someone who works for them so I got 800 minutes for $20.00 a month... better coverage. I really don't like cell phones.... I just like the fact that weekends and after 9:00 pm... it's free... and it's good for emergencies or if I can't get a ride... so... I'm a slave to the phone companies... then I got 1000 free regular phone minutes in this raffle from MCI...
I have a cell phone... they suck. I hate anything that pre-teens use to make themselves look cool. Haha, I was actually forced by my parents to get one.
Yeah... same here though... I never used the one I had with T-Mobile but like... 30 minutes or less... I don't use them unless I really need to. I can't stand people who constantly have to have their phone on all the time... then there's those people with those headsets... god those people are irritating... ok... you've already got a wall charger, get a charger for the car and one of those clips... enough with the accesories... it's not a car... they're not after market parts... I live off of Main Street and one evening I was out around 7:00, bicycling like I usually do every two or three days for a few miles... and there was this guy who was jogging but he was playing with his headset and talking... and the bastard almost ran right into me and I flew over the curb and grabbed a school zone sign as I was about to crash and didn't want to end up in the street and and he kept jogging...
Yes, that's very annoying. I really don't want to hear peoples' mindless conversations. Haha, true, but people driving with cell phones is the worst. You have to watch 'em and make sure they don't change lanes and kill you. Jeez, what a bastard. It's funny how people feel like they couldn't live without a cell phone yet they probably didn't have one just six or eight years ago...
Same here but only for emergency use(e.g. need a ride, will be late getting home etc). RANDOM FACT: Most people in Europe don't have home phones they just use their cell phone. Same in Mexico. I just felt like I needed to share that.
My grandmother just used to use a cell phone... she got stabbed in the back by phone companies two or three times so she disconnected her main phone and just started using a cell. My uncle did the same thing... Then my friend's grandparents also did that and they disconnected their phone and just got a cell as telemarketers wouldn't call the cell phone.
I wish I had a cell phone that one time my friend pushed me out of the car and left me stranded on some random highway. I was so lost... But other than times like that they are annoying.
im glad i dont have a cell phone, kids nowadays spend all their time talking on their phones rather than doing productive things. not all kids so dont anyone be offended, but alot of people
I actually haven't used the new cell phone once yet... this morning I prank called a science teacher that I used to have in middle school... he was retired navy... and he was an asshole.
oh dear...and i guess all busses in england are red, too? and french men are smelly, the irish drink too much, etc etc etc i happen to like my mobile (cell) it means i can meet up with people more casualy, and i spend very little on it, no more than £10 a month max! it's an old nokia 3310, and so nobody'd nick it, and it works...kinda! how silly though, if you don't like them, why do you have them?
Emergancies... to get a ride... if you're traveling... if you aren't home... I really can't stand cell phones though... I just leave it so if anyone calls they can just leave a voicemail.
