    Sorry, Chodpa ... Sorry, Moon_Beam ...

Please refer to the thread Skip posted in this forum (Christianity) titled New Rules!. I believe it stated "NO BIBLE QUOTES!"

If Im not mistaken, I also believe this refers to threads in the Christianity forum. Although I have seen it with slight enforcement in the Philo&Relig root forum ... I think ...

Jesus was a character. It wont return if it never actually existed in human form. But the author, being the Highest (listed in the Gospel and is not God), never went anywhere since it's as it's members. The actual coming concerning the Son of man. The Son of man is just two beings. One of those beings is the all because it was allowed to generate extra souls of itself. It goes back to one in the coming of the Son of man. The Son, being the Highest, will be delivered out this superphysical/phyisical order/world/body. As it is delivered the Son will become the Man. And it will be the Man of Man becuase the Man that was the Son will take the other Man in its capture. There will be one shephard (Man) completely in the first day and in the 3rd day one fold (Man). The 2nd day is left desolate to the devil (Man that was distinct from the Son).

So all in all the coming is the deprogramming of the Man's (devil's) selves back to one and the Man (that was the Son) coming forth (again) into the first day.

You say what's this 3rd day? It's just 2 days that meet. Meeting is the merger where the 3rd day comes into being. It's like takeing two hollow circles and putting them half way into each other. There in the center is the forming of the merger (the 3rd day). Right now we all are in the 3rd day. Those of the Highest will leave it.

In the first day it's own home source so you know it's paradise.

As with alot of things in the Bible, its almost true but...

Jesus was the vessel for the Christ consciousness. He does not own the title, but merely wears it as one would when holding office.

Jesus will not return, but the Christ consciousness will. Even now, there are many who walk the earth, but their kingdoms are elsewhere.

I thought you couldn't quote if you were trying to attempt proselytizing. I don't think it should be banned if your in a honest discussion.

Right, I don't know how to put it now! The bible claims that He will come back , but no-one except God knows when that will be.

I agree with rebel, if it's in a proselytising way, fair enough stop it, but if people want to know what the bible says in relation to something why is that not ok?

Anyway, my point is that lots of pseudonyms are used in the Bible, but nowhere does it specifically say Jesus will return. What does 'son of man' mean anyway. We are all sons of men (and daughters).

My main point is that people assume alot from what they read but it's nowhere exactly spoken as thus.

No, it says something will come forth in the future. But it does not say the word Jesus. At any rate, this is pointless without using quotes. I guess being able to post ones tits in erotica is more important than being able to quote passages from a scripture. I have to say that Darryl's use here as mod is surely great.

On the contrary there is a verse in the Bible that clearly states, that the God Head will return....

ACT 1:11"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."
"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

Is this what your'e looking for?

Okay, that would be on point. So I stand corrected. There is a passage that says Jesus will return in the same form as he left. Few people are able to quote that.

Funny, I also thought that only Luke was addressed to Theophylus.

You are correct, and this stupid ban on quotes is merely an obstruction to discussion.

Ok, so if I go around calling myself The Man from the UK, then say 'the man from the UK will return', it is pretty obvious what I mean by it.

Jessus called himself the son of man and said the son of man will return. I don't really see the difficulty in understanding that, whether you agree with it or not.

Of course, what is actually meant by his return is quite another question.

True. There has already been one quote posted in which Jesus says that He as we know Him will return and the other verses where it is said clearly say that it will be Jesus.

But the way the world seems to be going, it's beginning to look like what He said about when kingdom fights kingdom!

Kingdom has been fighting kingdom non-stop for the last 2,000 years or more.

The meaning of Christ's return may well not refer to an historical event as popularly believed - it has more to do with inner consciousness.
The new creation is happeneing all the time.

We'll have to see won't we, people will turn against faith and hate and betray eachother, it says it will happen, so we have to wait.
