okay so i've been really into politics lately because of my man Ron Paul. After reading many bills and laws I thought to make up my own bill that calls for the decriminalization of Marijuana, but its basically completey legal under this decriminalization bill. I put some stuff in their just to make some people happy like driving and medicianal purposes. This bill is not done, I am just tired of thinking, I wanted to post it on here to see what people thought of it and had any suggestions or to see if this even makes sense :spliff:. So here goes nothing:

    Introduction
After the enactment of this bill that which has been passed the plants under the genus Cannabis shall be decriminalized to a certain point later described in this bill.

    I. Extent of Decriminalization
The extent of legalization of the plants that fall under the genus Cannabis shall be that the availability of the materials made or harvested from this plant shall be available to the public freely at selected venues.

    a. Such venues that primarily make the sale of the plant material to be smoked or eaten that contains the chemical compound THC shall have the right to decide on the age of such sale to people.

    i. Such clause of age for sale can be decided and enforced independently by counties of each state

    b. People who make use of the smoking or eating of the plants to obtain the psychoactive properties of THC under the genus Cannabis, can consume said plant wherever they so please with the exception of school property, public parks, unpermitting restaurants, and wherever it is posted and known it is not to be allowed to be consumed.

    i. The use of the said plant is allowed in cars under your own ownership or with the permission of the owner of the car. If one person consumes THC and is intoxicated by such chemical they must decide for themselves if they are able to perform the task of driving the vehicle if they are alone. If the intoxicated person is to drive other people they are not allowed to drive those people. One may if they are in an accident that was found to be their fault, be fined for the possibility of the harm they could of inflicted due to the intoxication of the individual.

    c. The Payment for such plant material used for recreational purposes shall be made by the individual that has purchased it. When one uses the plant material for medicinal purposes they can seek payment for said prescription by the insurance company they are currently enrolled in. For it to be declared that the use of the plant material is purely for medicinal purposes a meeting with a doctor who is required to give a check-up on the patient and research the ailment they seek relief from and decide if the use of it is beneficial to the relief of such ailment. The doctor has the right to prescribe a certain amount that they find suitable to relieve the patient fully from their ailment for said period of time and any further medication they see to buy must be purely from their own funds. Such payments by the insurance company shall not be to their discretion but to the doctor which approved for a predetermined amount.

no drivin high buddy... even though "we" know its not so hard, that opens the door to ABUSE... we don't want abuse, we want adult enjoyment and growing in a similar fashion to alcohol.

Can't give the media fuel to the reefer madness fire - first time someone crashes while high, their fault or not, a BIG deal will be made of it. Fickle minds are the ones who soak up the media machine, and they are the opposition.

The legislation must be similar to alcohol... and it needs to be decided on the state level.

    Vote for Ron Paul :)
