Well, I tried 10x last weekend. Took 3 large hits and held them in for a minimum of 30s each time. I felt slightly stoned, but other than that, nothing. I'm so disappointed =( What do you think could have gone wrong? I used a torch, it was standardized Also, it was such a waste of money, because I bought it at a local headshop. $29.99 for a gram. However, I was curious.... =\
I think some people are immune to it. the other possibilities, is they could have ripped you off and it could actually be 2x or something. Or you simply did not take a big enough hit. And squirrel tree i have always smoked 10x salvia in a pipe with intense results every time. Just make sure to have a screen so it doesn't get sucked through.
Yeah i think bongs work better for salvia, but i have never used one for it and i have smoked salvia alot. I have never been disappointed.
I've tried salvia(10x) 3 times over this week and I am not getting the intense experiences people talk about. I just get enhanced hearing (music enhanced), some laughter, mild time distortiona(5 minutes seem like 10), and I talk to myself abit. NO visuals or closed eyed visuals at all. I smoke out of a pipe by the way.(1 monster hit each time held for 30 secs). And the salvia was bought at a reputable place (bc marijuana party headquarters)
I'm wondering if maybe I use too little salvia. How much do you usually put in the pipe bowl? (I use 10x). I don't have a scale but the amount I use for a hit is about a little more the size of half a pea(the vegetable).
I don't like dealing with headshops. They sometimes don't even know what they're doing or they're purposly ripping you off. I would buy from a legit internet source before they are all illeagal to try it. 10x for me lasted a couple minutes with some crazy visuals. I used a bong and a torch, it's the thing to use!
I always get it from a headshop and its always legit. I guess some places are different though, so if you find a good place than just keep going to the same place.
10x is fairly weak, you might be a hard case and should try 15x or 20x. If you don't have a scale here is a simple measuring method. If you buy a gram make a line measuring 5 inches (use a ruler) and spread the salvia over the line and using a stick or something make the salvia even and flat, then measure how much you want, every 1/2 inch equals .1g Just besure to keep track how much use had to start and how much you used. I keep hearing people say 10x is weak wtf!! yeah it is weak in comparison obviously but when i take a fat rip of 10x I get as powerful of an experience that i could NEVER imagine and i hallucinate actual beings coming out of the dirt ground. I have never done anything past 10x, and i don't want to do anything higher but i might try 20x sometime but ima stick mainly to 10x for my whole life.
err... Can someone please like take a picture of how much a "pinch" of 10x looks like. I'm not sure if I'm using too little or if I'm resistant to salvia. thanks a lot
i take (almost) as big of a hit as i can handle to get my craziest breakthroughs that would be about 1 teaspoon of 10x.
