massage your scalp, it brings blood to your hair and helps it to grow. Same with nails, if you tap them on a surface (like you're waiting) it'll help them grow.

well,my hair is growing really fast!I don't know why,but since I last cut it,it has grown over 15 cm(it was 6 months ago).I don't know if that's long, but I see that some of my friends' hair, hasn't grown for a year!Maybe it has to do with the type of your hair rather than a special method.(i mean those friends have tried nearly everything to make their hair grow)

I have found in the past that if you cut your hair ubber short all the time that it grows very slowly. I kept my hair short all thruout high school. I started to let it grow after I shaved my it took almost a year to get it to touch my ears and then now I am 21, only have done trims since then and it is 3-4 inches away from my shoulders. So it takes time, but I just wash my hair with soap anyways, I still come it though. Combing it once in a while does help it grow too. I heard a rumor that horse shampoo helps hair grow faster or something...it might be just a tale. Peace and Love and good luck.

yeah, my hair takes forever to grow. I cut it to chin length about 6 years ago and havn't even had a trim since, yet it's only about 2 inches past my shoulders. Mind you, that's when it's curly - if it's pulled straight it's about an inch above waist height. :)

I wish it would grow more though

I don't know, I look really shitty in short hair. It looks good when it's long and ratty.

It just takes time, with plenty of fruits, vegetables and protein, to keep it shiney and healthy. My hair just touches my hips, and is quite thick, Im sure due to my hawaiian heritage.

I've heard that the biotin works well. One lady said it got her hair from her ears to her butt in a year. It's a natural protein, too, so if you take too much it just gets excreted.

I dunno. I think basically if you eat a lot of protien, which is never bad anyways, it'll help.

Some people have trouble growing their hair out because when your hair gets to a length it likes it tends to fall out at a rate to equal its growth so it doesn't seem to move much. Just take care of it and get proper nutrition.

Haha...I heard that if you hang upside down for about 30 seconds a day, your hair will grow faster. I have no idea if it's a myth or what...but if you think about it, it makes sense. If you're upside down, the blood will flow to your head more and result in faster hair...growth.....maybe...?? haha. Anyway, I've actually been doing that, and I've noticed it's grown a bit (I want long dreads already! lol). Maybe I'm an ass for believing this works...but hey, what harm can it do? :)

all these ideas are pretty hilarious!!!
A good diet and regular trims will ensure your hair grows healthy, strong and managable, but nothing and I mean NOTHING can speed up the growing process of your hair. Sorry. :)
Some of the ideas suggested will keep it in great condition though, so give them a go anyway.

You have to cut/trim your hair every 6 weeks at least. Don't do what I do! I wanted to grow my hair so i stopped cutting it for years. It used to be really long, but now it's just breaking off and getting shorter all the time! Going for my first hair cut in ages tomorrow  x x x

Prenatal vitamins are suposed to help somewhat, but I've heard a few bad things about them. I think the best thing you can do is just keep you hair in the healthiest condition possible.

I feel you, though... I cut my hair recently and I regret it... I want it to grow as fast as possible!!
