Hey havent been on in awhile, sorry for those who actually read anything i wrote (probably noone ). but yeah i havent really dont anything with my dreads in awhile (currently 1 year and 3.5 months). but i have tried a few things well awhile back i combed out the rounded tips and i didnt even think of how bad itd look with frizzy curly hair, so i tried to fix it by braiding all of the ends...this looked amazing for a few days...but the knots i tied in the ends fell out i guess...well i was wondering if anyone else has done this and found a successful way of permanently tieing off a small braided tip. this second thing, someone told me about the other day at a party...she said she used to have dreads and tried something on mine...i dont know how common it is but its a wonderful idea for those of you who drink. all you do is take the cap off of a twist off beer (not like bud light, but one with an interesting top, bud light works i guess lol) but you just center it on a dread and fold it over, looks really really cool and it stays, im not sure how healthy it is yet, but im not going for a healthy look anymore so its perfect for me. thats all i got for now, get back to me if you wanna with some tips, comments, or critisism
thats awesome, i've seen necklaces and stuff with beer caps but not in dreads. I might have to try that
My friend pinches beer caps in my dreads all the time. I keep them in for the weekend but they have to come out when I go to work on Monday.
