Sail across a sea of gold,
Fly though your soul is hurt,
Try to smile through the rain
    Though pain throbs deep
    And your heart is broke.

Dance in a puddle up to your knees,
Revel in mud, embrace the goo,
Sing though your voice is dry and sore
A rainbow day is up to you.

Paint the sky inside your mind
Find the gold even when there’s none,
Shine a mirror into the sea,
Accept the gift of the sun.

Stoicism & existentialism wrapped up in a puddle-poem. Coolness, by far.
