When I'm high I've noticed that my thinking is different..Im not sure if I'm worse at thinking or if I'm just realizing more. Alot of times I think about things, I think of things I have never thought of before..and I say to myself "wow, did I just never realize that, or am I just high?". Sometimes I create new problems for myself that arent even problems. I think of the way things work, and why it's weird that they work that way, but I'm not sure if what I'm thinking is relevent or stupid. Anyone else do the same thing?

I think weed makes your mind make a lot of connections a lot faster than you usually would - you leap from one thing to another, & it's kind of hard to keep track of. One thing that's cool, if you learn how to flow with it you can really use it to learn a lot about yourself

Try listening to music with irregular beats while high. As in, ending on the 7th beat or so, completely breaking the rules of music. It's pretty crazy.

cannabis has the unique ability to do any of the three following things under various circumstances:

-cloud the mind, making complex thought more difficult
-clear the mind, eleminating excess overthinking and enabling meditative states without inhibiting the capacity for analytical or coherent thinking
-accelerate the mind, making thoughts race one after the other, often boosting creativity. this doesnt inhibit the capacity for clear thinking, but may lead to excessive distraction in the user. this often will also allow one to come to new and unique realizations or theories by enabling one to look at things from a viewpoint they wouldnt normally take.

at least these are the three most common things i notice in terms of mental abilities when >I< smoke cannabis. it has a lot to do with what grass you happen to be smoking at the time, how much you smoke, mindset, environment, expectations, and a variety of other factors.

this may not hold true in everybody, but i find it to be true for myself. some of my best essays i've taken while high, some of the best test scores i've ever received i got when taking the test while slightly to moderately high (for instance i scored a 1330 on the SAT after staying up all night studying and smoking a little here and there)

pot is certainly capable of inhibiting the thought process, but it is also capable of enhancing it.

i find pot begins to cloud the mind more with heavy and constant usage rather than just every now and again. if i stay high all day every day it tends to primarily present me with the second function (clearing the mind) rather than accelerating it or clouding it.

My mind is cloudy as fuck. Sometimes ill just not think about anything. Just sit there with no thoughts or anything going on in my brain. It happens to much.
