If you could go back in time and take away -one war -one person -one invention which/who/what would it/they be? No smart ass answers.. like 'if i changed one thing in the past then my whole life would be different'.... or 'time travel is impossible' etc.
1) The Haiti revolution. We'd still have slaves if it wasn't for those damn black pioneers. 2) Mitochondrial Eve 3) Television
i'd eliminate either the american revolution or the first world war, but i would be willing to suspect that world events may have been different enough without the american revolution that the rest of history would be changed enough to avoid wwi, effectively also avoiding wwii...but since i dont know that for sure, i guess i should just say the first world war. there are a lot of good answers to the person one....but it's also hard to say. i suppose perhaps Emperor Constantine I. and as for inventions....i'm not sure. perhaps the airplane or the telephone.
(Warning, the following post may spoil a semi-shitty movie). But... he was so damn good in K-Pax.....
Alexander III died of Malaria or some other disease/virus The poisoning theories are BS annnnnnyway Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with crankyelbow, take away the War on Drugs Person? Some anonymous premature baby thats going to die anyway and never grow up Invention? Not really an "invention" but I hope and pray we never never advance nanotechnology
The Christian Crusades(responsible for homogenising most of the world) Oliver Cromwell(the prick responsible for the de-Irelandisation of Ireland) I'm not really sure about an invention as most of them seem to have done some good, but if I could get rid of the discovery of gunpowder, it would probably have evened out the sides in a couple of the wars that we have waged.
The dawn of time (I don't think we should record time) Steve Martin (he's about as funny as headache) Religon
i knew someone would say something! lol i always get shit for hating samuel l. jackson, but just for some reason i absolutely hate him
Have you ever seen any of his good movies? Not many of them out there, but his few good movies are actually... good. Sadly all he does now is act out his Pulp Fiction role in every single movie he's in. But... the guy that said Steve Martin... common. One of the only good modern American comedians in existence. "The Jerk", "Plains, Trains, and Automobiles"... classics!
