    I think trees are the most beautiful things in the world because I see them as so wise. I just think they hold so much life and music inside them! That's why I've been thinkin' that I want that to be my first (and i want to be only) tattoo. [IMG] The only thing that bothers me is that I'm not that great at drawing pictures.. so the image in my head which I want it to be..I can't get it out on paper.. ya know? I'm sure whoever the tattoo artist is would do a good job if i helped them out with a picture of a specific tree.. but. eh.

    So, I think I want a really kinda fat tree trunk shortish tree that's bare..but had a few leaves still all on it.. really branchy.. and then in the top part of it there would be hands holding the earth..because i feel like really close to the earth and i love embracing it. ha! and then.. on the left side--there will be a small flower and that represents my family.. and then the right side flower will be my friends. then in the roots it will say "home". then last but not least there will be music notes coming out of the tree.

    haha now that i wrote all that out i feel like it might be a little cluttered.. anyone--feedback? i'm really excited about it because i'm gonna get it on my 18th b-day! which is actually this yearr!! ...in october.. but still! [IMG]
    thanks!

    i'm not sure if it will be of any help, but i have a couple of photos you could use for getting the detail of a few parts of your design if you would like to use them?

    trunk;

    i'm afraid i dont have any of bare trees in good detail.
    feel free to use the pics if you want, but please dont let anyone else have/use them without my permission ;)

    climb one...that you vibe. sit in it long enough until it becomes how you feel beneath skin...and becomes what you picture. Just feel it out..Do a lot of reasearch into tattoo artists in your local area...
    Sounds likea wicked idea..i too am considering a tree in my tattoo...but in a whole different realm.

    climb on.

    What an amazing idea for a tattoo! I would love a tree with the roots turning into a bedreaded faerie.
