haha, Bill, I think he meant he was grounded for 2 weeks for skipping school not that he skipped school for 2 weeks and therefore is grounded, but I could be wrong. Are you sure that "burnoutcy" is a word? lol. But, true, skipping school all the time just to be at home smoking up, or just plain skipping school all the time is really not a good idea. Not unless you like a paper hat that says "Mc.Donald's" on it.
I highly promote skipping school. Drop out. Seriously. Fuck middle/high school. Go to college instead.
Attending college is pretty hard to do without a high school diploma. If you're going to drop out, just get a general equivalency diploma and wait a year and a half to go to college so that you can go on the terms of "returning student". I had a buddy who made the mistake of thinking he could get his G.E.D. and just show up at a school and go. That's not the case. You have to wait a certain period in accordance with state law to be declared a returning, adult student. It's pretty shitty in life when you make a decision with the idea that you've got it all down and then you realize that the real world is no where NEAR as lenient and laxed as you'd assumed they'd be. The real world was a huge shock to me my first few months out. It was a lot more harsh than I'd imagined from the basement of my mom's house. lol Nobody cares if you fail or succeed, and most people aren't going to support you in your endeavors, you just learn to work just as hard as is required to make grade and meet the very few cool people that exist in life and forget the rest of the people you experience.
ya I am grounded for skippin, I only skipped a couple days. Im not about to drop out, I am doing my work and trying to get good grades, every %90 or over on my last report card will give me 500 bucks from my dad.
Yeah skipping SCHOOL isn't a really good idea...You kinda need a High School Education to get real money in this world, or like noted above, you like saying "Do you want that Supersized?"
That's the whole point. And I know that. Here you either have to wait a year or until your original class graduates (Whichever comes first). Aint nothin wrong with that, it gives you a little break between the 'School life' bullshit and the 'work life' bullshit.
$500.00 for an A? Is this dude filthy rich or something??? I used to get $10.00 for an A, and I already made As, so my dad was a moron for bringing that to the table. It's like a guy who's employees are already working at high speed, and yet he offers them a bonus for speedy work. Not a good idea. That's business 101.
I skip cuz Im lazy, my dad wants me to get good grades so he offers me 500 bucks, we r not rich, but we r certainly not poor either.
Man, for $500.00 I'd be at school everyday. You could buy 2 ounces and still have $200.00 left. Fuck staying home now,... stay at home when you get that fat paycheck for making grade.
