    Easy mescaline extraction technique

First you must gather fresh trichocerous pachanoi and remove the skins and inner green flesh from the core. cut 1 foot cuttings into 3 in cuttings and cut down along the inside greens removing inner green flesh and outer skins.

Second. run 1ft at a time through a vegetable juicer and gather all the juice. Clean the juicer of excess bulk before starting a new ft cutting.

Third mix 500ml of distilled water with 1 tspn of citric acid and add as much water to your cactus juice to make sure you have a nice water layer to separate your bottom alkaloid layer and upper fatty layer. Mix all contents together by shaking it. This will turn the alkaloids into salt form. ( If using dried skins or powder put them in a blender and use the citric water to mix them into, to make a cactus juice solution. )

Fourth add 25-50% the volume of the cactus juice solution with xylene from the hardware store. Roll jar over and over about 100 times to mix the xylene, citric water, and cactus juice. Let sit over night.

Fifth remove the upper fatty layer by spooning it out into a separate jar. When you have gotten all the fatty layer removed, freeze the solution. When the water layer freezes, the remaining xylene layer will still be fluid. Dump this somewhere outside where it will evaporate.

Sixth let the frozen solution liquefy at room temperature and pour into a glass or ceramic baking dish. Heat on low heat all day or until your left with a pile of solid organic matter. Do not dry on low heat, evaporate the water only. Put the solids onto a ceramic or glass plate and evaporate the remaining product with a hair dryer on low or a lamp that is close to the solid to evaporate the remaining moisture. When the product is hard and can be broken apart by hand, put into a baggy and crush it into a fine powder.

Seventh. at last capsulize the powder in -0- capsules which should be the equivilant of 300mg of cactus alkaloid powder. Each capsule should be a nice dose of organic psychedelic matter.

this sounds like a pretty easy way to extract mescaline. has anyone done it like this?

how bad would the remaining product be for your health and much yield would this produce?

If xylol and citric acid are on hand, it would be better to go through the effort to make proper mescaline citrate.

ANY amount of xylol is too much. Period. The good thing is that xylol evaporates cleanly. If it's dry, it's gone.

The problem here is that you are not accomplishing anything with this procedure. All that is going on is a de-fatting before dehydration. If starting with cactus powder, you would rehydrate, defat, then dehydrate again. That won't do much for you. There's a reason people don't stop after the de-fatting stage when making mescaline (if they're going to do one).

That being said, it would still be interesting to perform just a defatting on some powder to measure the difference in weight. Just for curiosity's sake.

Are you saying they should basify into fresh non-polar organic, separate, and then form salt?

I always do a simple IPA extraction, redisolve in a small amount of water, and then do a quick defat with Naptha or Toulene.

I start with live cacti, cut into thin slices, and dry overnight with a fan blowing over them. Blend until a powder, mix in a mason jar with the IPA and let sit for a day or so. Strain, add more IPA to the slurry, wait a day, and then drain again. Let dry and you have mescaline "tar"

Disolve tar in water with a tad of vinegar and do a quick defat with toulene or naptha.

Always make sure your solvent dries completely without ANY residue. Do a test with 200ml or so.

I don't want to injest that stuff either.

    Let dry and enjoy.

Do you think you could make pictures of each one of these stages? Clairification on what is the flesh of the cacti and what the cut peices should look like before jucing would be helpful. I am very tempted to try this extraction. It sounds similar to making pure mescaline from things I have read but I have no means to make that. This sounds effective enough to get a fairly concentrated alkaline extraction if you could keep the xylene from staying in the water some at the end.
Also xylene is a solvent like white gas and paint thinner which are toxic to breathe so this process should be done in a well ventalated area preferably with a gas mask on. I used white gas to extract LSA from morning glories and its really really bad stuff. Does anyone know where to get citric acid?
