Ok, two days ago there was a knock on my door and I opened it and in rushed six cops. I was taken down usual style, thrown to the floor and all that which sucked cause I just had a Crohn's operation abit over a month ago. Anyways they found what they came for, my room. I was arrested read my rights and told I was going to be charged with possession and growing with intent. (180 plants ) Four cops left and one of the two called someone and twenty minutes later a woman cop came and they talked. They then went in and cut everything down (well not quite, but later) which 25 plants were due tomorrow This is what they took. All my plants except for twent four clones??? (why they left them I do not know???) the seeds that I had sitting in a container on my coffee table (yet left about a thousand seed sitting on a shelf in my grow room in plain sight????) They left my lights, nutes and everything for a grow???? The only place they searched was the room and not even that good LOL and the container on the coffeee table. If they would have went into my bedroom, there was half a pound of pot all dry (why would they not search???) They left all my pipes (5 used) and papers and even about a joints worth on the table. They also left oil that was sitting there in plain sight as well. Then to top it off, once they were done everything was put in garbage bags (5) they came back out into the front room and told me to stand up. I figured ok this is it I am going to jail. The one cop tells me to turn around and he takes the hand cuffs off?????????????????? Then I was told that I should find a doctor that will sign my papers and then they leave. What to fuck. No charges nothing. I do not understand this. You would think that with 180 plants that I would be gone for a long time, but they just left and I am sitting here wondering what to hell is going on??????????? Yes they were real cops that is forsure. Needless to say I got rid of everything and no I am wondering what to hell happened. They left as fast as they came in and it has me scratching my head. Any comments why they would do this????? I suffer from Crohn's and just got operated Nov. 15 2007. I live in Canada and this is my first drug crime if you want to call it a crime and I am confused. Wow, that's very strange. Perhaps those are the coolest cops ever? Maybe they couldn't charge you for intent to sell because they had no way to know you sold? That's incredibly cool that you didn't go to jail though. I would recommend not growing inside ever again.
perhaps it was more a courtesy call to let you know that they thought 180 plants was just a bit excessive for personal use.. did they tell you outright to not grow again? i assume the doctor comment was your medical marijuana papers?(i assume M.M. is legal in canada) if so, personally id just scale back to a personal level and keep on keeping on.. if your really spooked,id call and set up a meeting with the big wig they called in and just ask them. but as i said,sounds like it was just a courtesy call to let ya know your doin things to big. personally if i was told to get my M.M. papers an they left me with everything i needed to keep on growing,i think i would and not worry about it....
Did they have a warrant? Lawsuit waiting to happen if they didn't... especially since they also pushed you down. But I guess that them not pressing charges is pretty damn nice of them as it is.

canada is the best if he wasnt actually dealing than he would be okay, btw what province do you live it? usually in BC or ON they are easier. even if you were charged they would most likely charge you with a summary offence the first time, unless it was a really huge export grow which =6mo jail /2000$ fine max, but im surprised they didnt even give you a fine... makes me wonder if they were real cops... since they didnt even search your house that much

I was never shown a search warrant and now that I think of it, when the woman cop came, she said we could do this the easy way or the hard and get a search warrent????????? At the time it never dawned on me what she said. I live in Ontario and NO I do not have my papers and I can not find a doctor that will sign and I have been through quite afew. As for the 180 plants, I was in a transition going from the strains I had to something else and it just happened that I had more plants than my normal 90 - 100. Everything is just so weird. Normally in a town like this, 180 plants is a big bust, but nothing on the news what so ever. No names were given to me, there is nothing to show that they took anything (paper wise), no pic were taken. All they did was come in, raided my room took all the plants except the 24 clones and left everything else. This situation is totally confusing to me. I should be in jail and yet I am out here not even charged. With the plants that would have been ready today I normally get 1 1/2 pounds) that would be enough for charging me with growing with intent. I never sold anything to anyone. NO ONE knew of my grow, everything was kept in one place and things taken care of. You could walk through my place and you couldn't smell pot at all. I took every precaution I could and yet they still came. I will not be growing here again and I think it is time to move, not that it would help because once they have you, they have you for life. that's ridiculous on the upside, no charges, on the downside...no more plants cops should quit wasting time on Marijuana, I dont think they would have searched if they thought all you had was pot, maybe they were searching for something else...other drugs maybe?
they prolly assumed you were growing for medicinal use and thats why they said you should get a note from your doctor
pretty sure you got robbed lol, they just went in and look the plants and left, didnt search the rest of the house, take you to the station for questioning, or even present a warrent. shoulda asked for badge numbers and warrent
