How long does it last?

Firstly, hi every1, i just registered on this forum but ive been visiting it every once in a while recently to see the threads n stuff.

Okay so just before i go into the topic, i would just like to say im not a very experienced smoker (as in i don't do it very often), and ive got some hash at home which ive been saving and still feel like saving for another time, but i wanted to make sure that it doesn't 'lose it's THC' if you know what i mean. I don't want to leave it for too long and coming back to it when its 'dead'. So I was wondering, if kept wrapped up and in a little box, will it ever run out of THC? If so, will it lose alot? Will it lose ALL of it?

I keep my hash in an empty pill bottle lol but if I got hash, I smoke that hash in like a 2 week period, depending how much hash it is. 2 grams can easily last me a little under 2 weeks. sometimes less though lol

 

Hash degrades over time. If it is exposed to light, heat or rough handling it degrades faster. How long it lasts is dependent on several variables. Eventually, it will be useless. If you have had it for more than a few months, I would say use it or lose it. Don't wait much longer.

Back about l6 yrs ago- in the Meditterranean, the wreck of a cargo ship was found. It was estimated that the ship went down about one thousand to fifteen hundred years ago. There were storage jars found in the wreckage that had hash in them. The crew that found the jars smoked some and definitely got stoned. If it had lost any potency there was no one to verify if it had. So if stored correctly, your hash will last for a very long time. .............PAX

OH- I guess I should summarize the article that I read.
To keep the deterioration of the cannabis to a minimum, you should store it in a vacuum pack in a cool dark place.

i dont keep it vacuumed but i do keep it in a cool dark place
