By Helen Thomas A very quick read and gives a good idea how the press conference has always been about giving the public only what they need to know. From the Bay of Pigs to the failed Presidency of Dubya. Helen Thomas definately chides todays media and journalism. However it is good to see with a woman her age, what she has seen and been through that she can come out on the other side (post 9/11/Bush regime) and be hopeful for future journalists. There are many chickles sprinkled throughout the book too esp. on Presidential Press Secretaries.
