This song is originally done by Oasis, isn't it? This is the EXACT same song (same singer, etc.) as I thought Oasis released... Maybe I was wrong.
actually, i thought it was originally from radiohead... lol but then i looked it up on youtube.... and i guess maybe i was wrong too.. lol
No it's a Verve original, Oasis played it live a few times, i've never heard radiohead do it buts its possible they played it live before aswell, but it's definatley originally written by the Verve front man Richard Ashcroft (about his father dying from cancer, and the fact that the drugs he was on only made him worse, its not about illegal drugs like some people think), and it was definatley recorded and performed first by the Verve. great band, its a petty they split up when they did, i thought they were just hitting there peak when they did.
