Uh...no. Seriously, no. I spent an entire semester (my first) drinking like a fish in college. Now I rarely drink and only recently experimented with acid, acid was a much more entertaining experience.
You need to do some MAJOR research if you are even putting acid and alcohol in the same sentence. www.erowid.org is a great place to start.
well, to put is simply, alcohol is fun, but acid is a voyage, you travel through thought processes you dont even know exist, timelines that may or may not have happened, and you completely reassess every situation you've ever been in, all in a 12-14 hour time span, 1 Good hit will make you wonder about life, 2 good hits, and the walls turn into cheesecake (atleast mine do, i think i had the hash munchies too though.) in any case, no, alcohol cannot even be used to explain anything similar to lsd. i would say, my best feeling, the first plateau of acid is more like X, and develops into a more intricate design as the night flows on. it affects everyone differently, if you feel like you're prepared, then go lookin, if not, then stray away from it until you are confident. that is all the advice i can give you, hope it helped.
I can tell you one very important difference between acid and alcohol. Alcohol makes you stupid and num and sick, closing your mind and you can't understand even simple things, you repeat yourself (or a few senteces) whole night and you feel like tied in a quick send until you black out, waking up in the morning with terrible headacke and question what happened last night. Acid is opening your mind, giving you new perspectives on life itself, you, universe, God and most of all love. Your mind starts working on a speed you can't even imagine before you tried it, starts making connections with everything surrounding you, showing you macro and micro cosmos, energy and plenty more. In the morning, you are completely different person, with no phisical pain, refreshed and full of energy and more respectful for life and nature. I could go on for days, but I'll let you discover all of that on your own. So, conclusion is - NO, its not like beeing drunk!
yea, like shapeshifter said, alcohol makes you really dumb, and it's really hard to focus or think about things while drunk. i couldn't even focus on porn properly... lsd makes you realize things that you will never forget.

On acid time would slow down so much that I would literally hear the music stop and sound like it reverberated down a hallway and it'd just be silent, dead silent. Then time would speed up a little bit and the music would come back.
Its a completely different experience. Nothing wrong with either as long as you use them in moderation. I prefer LSD though.
lsd cannot be compared to alcohol. i loved shapeshifters post about it. alcohol is base...very very low on the vibration scale...terrible toxic poison. lsd for me is holy communion...opens me up and cleans me out. fills me with light...like re-charging my battery or something.
