    Me and a friend did acid for the first time on new year's eve, and although it was a very intense experience (and not in a bad way), I feel weird and depressed now. I woke up in the middle of the night last night thinking I was still on it, and it scared the hell out of me. Everything feels and looks bland, and I don't like to be alone with my thoughts. Has anyone else experienced this? Will it go away? I sure hope so... :S

    Give it a week or so and it should be completly gone. You could always do some more and see if that helps :).

    do you know why you are depressed? most people know why they are depressed. you have thoughts in your head that are making you feel the way you do - or the other way around - you have feelings making you think the way you do. so, what are you thinking about? stop thinking about stuff that makes you feel depressed and start thinking about stuff that makes you happy. it really is just that easy. well, it is easy when you put it the way i did but when it comes right down to it our thoughts are not as easy to control as you might think. all you need to do is make yourself happy. you do it to yourself - so ask yourself why you are depressed or just pay attention to what you are thinking and think about stuff that makes you feel better.

    don't blame the LSD, this is your own fault.

    Thanks for the replies, everyone. I think I know a few of the reasons I feel like this... my friend who went on the trip with me I don't think had a good trip, so I was feeling guilty that I was enjoying mine and he wasn't. Also, we learned a few things about ourselves and each other that were a bit... deep, and now I'm worried that our friendship won't be the same. And then the rest is just sort of a general loneliness, even though I'm very used to being alone all the time. But yeah, 3xi, you're right... I've just got to think positively, and I'm sure it'll go away. I'm wondering though, has anyone else felt this sort of general depression after a trip?

    It gets better with time. Just think about all the positive impacts in your life.

    I was just sitting here in meditation starring at my wall and my entire field of vision went black and I was seeing all these patterns in the blackness and it felt exactly like acid

    the thing though... I haven't done acid in like 3 months now, it was just meditation
    acid seems to just show you extremely deep states of meditation without much work at all
    The truth of the matter is, you still are on acid.
    Because "acid" is just the deepest recesses of your psyche
    What your built on top of. What you call "I" is built on top of what acid showed you

    I was watching this documentary from 60's on acid and it showed the neurons of the human brain under a microscope when they gave the person acid. It said that, upon taking acid, it takes 45 minutes to circulate through your blood stream and then it go and touches your brain. When this happens, all the neurons, all the synapses, pull apart and disconnect in about 10 minutes. The chemical is then completely out of your brain in the following 30 minutes. You'll probably pee it all out in the next 2 hours or so. The rest of the trip, the whole trip is quite literally just your synapses re-wiring themselves. What that means is, the effect of acid is not actually a chemical interacting with your brain. It is quite literally just your perception when your brain is completely opened, all hard-wired synaptic connections undone. In essence, like I said before, you truly are always on acid. Because at any one point, the potential for your synapses to disconnect is always there.

    Just hold on, stay with it, your brain will develop the means to consciously control all aspects of itself.

    that's big--that would propell you into a nasty spiral. i remember tripping with someone who was tripping while injured. for a big part of the trip he was overwhelmed by his injury and what was happening to his life. it was heavy shit. i on the other hand felt GREAT but sitting next to him (because i felt i should be there with him and be supportive) totally put a bummer on it -i almost felt straight--i didn't feel high at all i got so low. you will hear a lot about set & setting-its very important. who you trip with and when (for both) is a crucial element. but don't feel guilty about his bad trip. whatever 'bad' he felt was mearely a gift--something he needed to see. imagine a diamond being refined....the process of refining a diamond is quite intense-a diamond is blasted into beautiful-but the end result is spectacular is it not? sometimes acid can be much like that.

    in the case of my trip i learned how other people's resonance affects my own--and that i have ussues being supportive without being drained-that's a character flaw i need to fix.

    good! GREAT! of course it won't be the same--it'll be SINCERE-HONEST....that's the beauty of lsd--all the layers come off--and its pure truth. so now you can move forward in the friendship (in whatever way it leads) in an AUTHENTIC way. change can be difficult but necessary for growth.

    --the trick is to seek it in your sober life. they say that the lsd trip opens psychic/spiritual doors and that even after the drugs wear off that door remains open. seek the connectedness to your inner guru--find your inner bliss-love center and all you will know is peace.

    Here are few tricks, I hope they will help everyone.

    Everything and everybody is vibrating on certain frequences. Every feeling that you have is actually vibration on certain frequency. Every situation that you go through is awaking set of feelings in you. So when you have mixed set of feelings, you are actually vibrating all those frequences that those feelings are attached to, making a wave. That wave is a result or overal feeling, final result of all feelings together.

    So here is a trick: If you think that hungry children in war is terrible thing, by thinking that you are actually supporting it without knowing that. How?
    Because:
    hungry=negative vibe
    hungry children= more negative vibe
    war=even more negative vibe
    terrible= the word says for itself

    So, what you have here is a bunch of negative frequences forming extremly negative wave witch affects you and all the people around you, without even knowing it. Now you will ask if I am an ignorant pig if I can close my eyes infront of all the worlds terror. No I am not, but here is the secret:
    If you want to express properly and actualy help that situation instead making it worce, that sentence should be written like this:

    I wish there is more happy children in peace!

    Now what we have here:
    happy= very good vibe
    happy children= nothing more beautifull
    peace= such a calm and nice vibe

    All together forming a such a beautifull wave of frequences that you spread to others and witch makes you happy.

    You see, we are all vibrating and receiving vibrations without even beeing aware of it, and that makes us sometimes depresed without any logical explanation. But if you train yourself to think positive way (the way I explained), without even thinking of negative things, than your overal feeling will be good, plus you will make others feel good without any particular reason that they can find, but they will definitely feel it.
    That is spreading the word of God without people even realizing what you are doing for them and the humanity. That is how you can help yourself and others and there is no way that they can refuse to "listen" to you, they feel vibrations and there is nothing they can do about it.
    So, try to teach yourself to start sentences with "I would like...." instead of "I hate...", basicaly stop thinking of things you don't like, rather say what you would like that thing that bothers you to change to, and you will see the difference.
    Peace and love to all of you!

    so i guess what many people would call connotation, positive or negative, represents a subsequent vibration, right?

    I'm having a similar problem. First trip was back in september of 07 and ever since I've had this sort of Dose the Planet ideology about me. I love the crazyness of LSD and how it completely restructures everyday life while at the same time changing very little. There's a whole world out there that runs independently of any drugs and I'm having a hard time coping with that. Basically I know that the fundementals of tripping are not the fundamentals of life and that I should seek out the joy in sober self being, but the draw of getting lost in a trip forever has more influence on me.

    It makes me sad how i realize what my pickle is, but I can do little to stop the slip.

    Exactly. By saying what you don't want, you are explaining to your mind that you don't want it, but you are actually vibrating that frequency, adding it to the destructive wave. So don't explain to yourself what you don't want, explain your mind what you would like, simple like that, and if everybody would do the same, destructive wave would be very small and inefective, while the constructive wave would be very much stronger, and that would affect everybody to not even think about bad things. I know that this is how its working!

    i really don't doubt you, i would just like to read it for myself.
    If that is real, that is one of the awesomest things i've ever heard.
