WTF!!!!!! Does anybody know where I can get some Alcapulco Gold, Panama Red, or Columbian Gold seeds?!!!!!

I don't mean some copy cat or mix, I mean the real deal.

P.S. Has anybody ever tried the real "Alcapulco Gold"?

P.S.2. If you know a Medicinal Marijuana Store in Southern California that has the actual Alcapulco Gold, please, let me know, that would be nice for my friend.

i read that they girdled the stalk at the end of the flowering, then sun dried the buds to get the gold color. other than that it was just regular weed..

and trust me,todays middies are better than what either of them were back then...

I know someone in Amsterdam that is selling seeds but they are very expensive: about 350$ for sixteen seeds and he is not selling to inexperienced growers anymore. You need a minimum of 5 yrs of growing sativas before he will sell to you. It's an extememly difficult strain to grow and most people will lose more than half of their plants before harvesting and the yield is extremely low. You are lucky if you get three ounces off of a twelve footer that you have been growing for six months. He grows the strain for his own personal stash: and if he has enough to sell it usually goes for a 800$ an ounce. ................Pax

I think I should also add that the reason Acapulco Gold is so hard to grow is because it is a true tropical sativa that only does well when it receives as much direct sunlight as possible. Even in the Acapulco area, it needs six months of direct sunlight to achieve it's maximum production and maturity. When it was available commercially back in the 60s more than half of what you got was twigs, seeds and fan leaves unlike the commercial products that you buy today that are mostly buds.

Yes, I do have Acapulco Gold seeds. I actually just got them recently as my friend has been smoking it recently and he got some seeds with his purchase. I have 15 seeds. These are legit, I'm not just making this up. I can show even show you threads asking about what I should do with them on other forums that are from before today.

I think it was Breeders Choice that was putting out AG seeds a little while back, I firget though. I wouldn't want to grow those anyway, I'm sure it'd turn out great but I don't think I have the skill (or the equipment) to pull that off.

    Lune-

I don't know anybody who has ever tried to grow real AGold indoors . It needs alot of sun. Everyone I know who has ever tried to grow it has done it in a greenhouse. I did a bit of research and talked to a few people I know, and they told me that the majority of AG seeds that are out there have been crossed so many times that the only thing that remains is the colour. The potency is not there anymore. Everyone that I know who has smoked it has said it has a really strange hallucinogenic effect. The first thing that you lose is your depth perception. Everything is in 2D. Then it's like pushing the colour enhance button- and the colours will change to almost a cartoon form. But that's if you smoke too much. Someone sent me a pic of an AG cross and told me it's all in the curing. ./Pax

"Zion" stands for a Utopian place of unity, peace and freedom, as opposed to "Babylon," the oppressing and exploiting system of the western world and a place of evil.

To answer you question "where I 'm from." ...........Pax

I'd pay 350 bucks for 16 seeds, but is it really AG or just some cross

If it is true, does he have a store in amsterdam i can buy it from?

    SORRY-
but he would never sell the seeds to an inexperienced grower. People who have been growing for years have an awful lot of problems growing AG and they bitch to him about the problems so he does not sell to anyone but the most experienced growers.
I am sorry about that. ...........................PAX

Whatever man, there's a whole list of landraces from the 70s there. Those that aren't landraces are f1s. Have you actually ever grown before? If you haven't then any of those sativas are a waste of time and money.
