So true. It's amazing to me the way people want to focus on a singular "demon" when there are an array of them. I'm beginnign to think the purpose of the president is to be fly paper for all the crap so everyone else can make a buck while nobody's looking. The $100 oil thing was a lark this week, a few people stuck it up there to get attention and within a few trades it was right back down to its already inflated rate. But people need to realize that oil is a finite resource and that we will see less and less of it which will drive the prices upward. That is not anyone's fault beyond the people who use oil (basically everyone). Also, America is a republic. So the people are represented in government by representatives. This coupled with the necessary bureaucracy creates a substantial amount of delay between the time events happen and when the reaction of the American people is realized. So dogging Americans for immediate actions of the government is unfair at best. If you hate Americans because of the government, you're being bigoted and prejudicial. CF
I agree that Monkey boy has power and a lot of it, as long as he’s President. When he’s not he’ll be another rich Monkey boy with very little power. Wealth is power and face it Monkey boy is just not that wealthy. In fact, if China were to dump their US Dollar holdings tomorrow the US would collapse like a house of cards and Monkey boy would be rubbing two sticks together to start a fire. Which only shows you how much power Monkey boy would have if the real Power Brokers didn’t let him have it!
Just call me “spin doctor” and let me ask this one question? Who is getting rich? It’s not Monkey boy, his personal fortune has not increased much since he’s been in office. So who’s fortunes have increased? Is it not the Power Brokers that put him there and have kept him there that are making the money/power grab?
Well, after listening to your pathetic, snooze-inducing radio show (which is the equivalent to taking a handful of qualudes), I came to the exact same conclusion about you. It's the same half-assed left vs. right garbage we've been hearing for the past four decades. Try talking about something of substance and perhaps more people will listen to you. Nobody wants to hear you pretend you're Al Franken. Politics are a sham for the brainwashed, dumbed-down public of people like yourself to believe in. It doesn't matter who gets elected, the agenda at the top never changes. This is admitted by Carroll Quigley, who was the official historian/archivist for the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as a mentor to Bill Clinton at Georgetown, who selected Clinton for the Rhodes Scholarship in 1968. Quigley's 1966 book, titled Tragedy & Hope, provides a revealing look into the inner workings of what he referred to as the "Anglo-American establishment." Here is what Quigley said about the left/right sham called politics: "The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies." As long as the public THINKS they have a say in the "democratic process," they will do nothing to change anything. But you don't get it, you don't want to get it, so what's the point in arguing with you or trying to convince you the way I see things? Just keep regurgitating the same tired mainstream media talking points you've heard from your championed left wing pundits on the radio, thinking your're saying something that hasn't already been said a million times already. I just don't see how some of you can act like Bush is so stupid, yet so ingeniously diabolical at the same time.
Okay, Higherthanhell, calm down, I can see the situation is upsetting to you? If you will notice, not once have I said that Bush and Cheney are not criminals. In fact I think that the two should be turned over right now to the world court to be tried as war criminals. As for your explanation, here goes, in any criminal investigation they tell you follow the money. Okay, yes Bush and Cheney are probably wealthier than they were when they entered office but if you look at the financial statements that they have to make, they are not billions of dollars richer. So who are billions richer? You, your self pointed out that the oil companies are: ExxonMobil: $158.5 billion Shell: $108.5 billion BP: $89.2 billion ChevronTexaco: $60.9 billion ConocoPhillips: $46.9 billion So, my question is, who own the oil companies? I know that it’s not Monkey boy, his father or Chaney for that matter. Do we put Monkey boy and his VP in jail for this price gouging and let those who put him up to it go or do we go after them as well?
"what are you doing, smoking crack with pepik?" It's difficult for me to take you seriously when you stray from the issue to deliver an attack upon my character. Stick to the issue, I have no interest in your personal opinion of me (which is based on so very little actual contact). Life is too short to be rude for the hell of it, have a purpose man. and wtf is pepik? CF
The thing is, I don't talk about politics because I don't care about politics. I go far beyond that. Politics are a smoke screen and a diversion away from the real forces that operate above the sellouts and turncoats that are our so-called "elected officials." Talking about politics is like talking about football or the latest soap opera. It's nothing more than a dog and pony show for joe public to believe in. If you had any clue, you would be talking about the high-level bureaucracies and their unelected minions that make policy from outside of the political structure. You would be talking about the banking system. You would be talking about non-governmental organizations such as the CFR and Club of Rome. I never hear you talking about any of these things.
Higherthanhell you are a dunce. Who owns the oil? Saudia Arabia, Russia, Nigeria, Venezuela, Iran. They decide the production levels, they sell it, the $100 is going to them. US oil companies are small players in global oil production. Like so many American anti-Bush dumbasses, you can't see a world beyond the US. And your chart shows that the oil run started under Clinton, the oil price more than tripled in his last years in office. Try harder next time.
What are you talking about? You haven't got the faintest clue how the banking system works. You only repeat what conspiracy websites tell you to think, like the good little messenger boy that you are.
That's not true because I don't go to "conspiracy websites." However, I would rather be a messenger for "conspiracy websites" than I would Bill Kristol and the Weekly Standard (or, as I prefer to call it, the Weakly Standard).
Again..I should'nt acknowledge the forum junky....but anyway.. Pepik Oh is that right? So Clinton was in office in 2003 dumbfuck? Oh yeah dopehead?..show me in this chart where oil was $150 a barrell in 1999-2000(that would be "triple") .....In fact it's at it's lowest...you might want to think about what you're lying about before you type stupid...you and your buddies are looking pretty bad at this point. What the fuck are you on..heroin?
Says someone named "wacki"..like I said, you and your dumbfuck buddies are out of your league...you look dumber with every post mr.wacki  ...you fuckers can't be for real, nobodys that stupid
