no. but a number of interesting things are going to happen between now and then and shortly after. not on any particular arbitrary dates, but certain observable trends will be reaching some sort of critical mass somewhere within that general time period. end of america's ability to continue bullying the rest of the world, and without anyone invading it either, just like the old ussr 'collapsed' without being overtly or militarily 'invaded'. oh a number of things are going to end and other begin in that time period. as indeed many things do in every time period. probably not the demise of the human species completely, nor anything really signifigant happening to the rocks and the planet's core, but other things, environmental, economic, political, tecnological, and so on, maybe even spiritually, although most of that, is in a (relatively recent) past most people just aren't yet entirely familiar with. whatever is inevitable probably won't. whatever can't possibly, probably will. with anything TOTAL being the exception in both cases. well that's what's happened so far THIS decade. maybe the next one will be, if anything a little more sane! =^^= .../\...
Well, they were strangely advanced with their mathematic and astrological systems, architecture, etc. And their calender has coincided with historical events that took place after the reign of their empire. Ive heard everything from aliens visiting them and sharing knowledge to mushroom spores coming on meteors from other planets and giving them cosmic insight. And I certainly dont believe everything I hear and dive face first into theories. Especially those. But considering how weird life and nature itself is if you really sit down and try to make sense of it, I'll keep my mind open to the possibility.
dont get me started on this stuff, i saw a documentary about that date on discovery channel and sooo many prophets and beliefs point to that date as the end of the world and it scares me alot
There seems to be a misunderstanding. The calendar doesn't come out and say this is the end of the world. As some in this thread have said it's a CHANGE in the world, a SHIFT. Life, the world, the universe, everything is circular. Linear is an illusion and there is never a true END. Which makes it interesting because it also allows a lot of these cycle change predictions to jive with Judeo-Christian (and possibly other religions as well) ideology of the exact time and date of the end of times being unknown to all. One way or the other things will be very interesting.
